Walked in to browse. This is a small store, and the employee behind the counter did not look up, acknowledge, or greet us as we entered. There was no one else in the store which should have been our first clue. Obviously, she determined that we were not worth her time. Unfortunately for her, we did walk out. If local shops want to be supported, perhaps they need to act like they care when a customer walks in. I can get Birkenstocks or UGGs other places that are more than happy to help us. read more

Getting caught up on my reviews. Was at Shoe Diva there at Thanksgiving. Had great success with my shopping--found just what I was looking for. I fully support small business owners especially when they bring in items we would not normally see in SF or even at larger US cities. The Italian brand AS98, Donald J Pliner, the variety of Uggs, and the great accessories are all reasons to support this store. I am disturbed by some of the comments from other reviewers. Small businesses struggle to stay in business and so cannot be a place where people go to get the right size and order number to then buy online. Same with the complaint about the returns. I brought my 10 year old niece to buy her a pair of Toms. They did not have her size in the color she wanted so she asked me if she could order them online. The owner heard her and decided to lecture her on supporting local businesses. And told her if she wants a job when she grows up she better buy local. Thanks for the economics lesson. While most of the staff are very friendly and helpful, the owner/manager is one of the rudest people I have ever encountered. Their return policy is virtually non-existent. They will never return your money, even if you return something the very same day as purchased. They will let you exchange for another item. If you can find the same merchandise somewhere else, I would advise you do so. read more

Shoe Diva has the absolute WORST customer service I have ever experienced, and I worked retail for seven years! My mom asked to see a pair of shoes in the box. Considering this is a shoe store, the request should be an easy one. Apparently, they did not appreciate the request. Clearly these associates are used to sitting around and gossiping as opposed to working, for they decided to gather around the register to say horrible things about my mother. For example, I heard a red-headed associate saying this while glaring at my mom, "Can you believe that b****? She is so rude!" Excuse me, but I know rude, and my mother was not rude. They then continued to speak like this about my mom as she was trying on shoes. As polite as possible, my mom continuously thanked the associate helping her. Apparently their definition of kindness of calling a customer a b****. Excuse me for thinking kindness is being polite to ALL customers. I will no longer shop at this disgusting store, and I urge all others to do the same. If this is how they treat people, Shoe Diva should no longer be in business. read more

Great designer shoes with comfort. Customer service is always great...maybe because I am a loyal customer. Unique styles in shoes and clothing. Disheartening to see some negative reviews. Should be obvious when not in a chain store to find out the return policy. All small businesses have different return/exchange policies than big corporate retail stores. I bought my daughter a pair of Uggs for Christmas and they were one size to small... today was the first time we had a chance to get to the mall and they would NOT let us exchange for a different size! Terrible customer service. I Tired to return birkenstocks after 3 weeks due to peeling cork coating. I was told no box, no receipt, NO exchange. This is my 4th pair of birkenstocks from this store and i have never tried to return anything before. I didn't keep the box because I would have never guessed I would have an issue. Scheels stands behind everything they sell and will exchange anything that is lost, stolen or damaged for up to 90 days if you purchase with Scheels Visa. I will NEVER buy shoes here again. Very condescending and made me come back to tell me too bad, and "here, buy this sealer from us" instead of sorry, let us make it right. Very disapponting. read more

DO NOT shop at this store!!! The manager is rude and they do not allow returns, only store credit. Why do I want store credit to a place that treats their customers so badly?? Very poor customer service. I bought a very expensive pair of shoes at shoe diva. Some of the crystals fell off within a month. Contacted the store and had to call back when the store owner was in. After calling back to talk the owner she took my information and said she would contact the company of the shoe and they would send a label so I could send my shoes in to have them fixed. After 2months and not hearing or receiving anything in the mail I called back and talked to the owner. She was very short with me and said it takes awhile but "it would be worth the wait". After 2 more months and nothing I was in the mall and stopped by shoe diva, of course the owner was not in and the sales gal took all of my information and said she would get right back to me. It is now been over 3weeks and no word from shoe diva. I always try to by local but with this type of customer service I will mot be purchasing anything from there again. I think what really makes me mad was the fact that she lied to me and didn't even contact the company. read more

I had a new pair of clogs that were defective/faulty and only worn twice when the left shoe opened up where there wasn't any stitching (? lack of shoe glue holding it together). I stopped in the store and the 3 gals seemed friendly and acted like they could help me but the employees just wanted me to bring my shoes back to deal with the store owner. I talked to the owner via the phone a couple hours later and she reported at me saying that "sales were final!" When I asked her if she would pay for the repair at John's Shoe Repair she became even more short with me. I told her if my sale was finial then "that was my FINAL purchase ever at her store. " I'll size my young daughter there and purchase our shoes elsewhere. I told the owner I purchased local from her and that I will leave negative feedback for her lack of willingness to help me. She told me she would contact an attorney against me. I am not giving any slander against Shoe Diva. Slander is the action or crime of making a false statement damaging to a person's reputation. This story is what really happened to me. Lucky for me I have a sweet husband who contacted the maker of the clog directly and they will repair my shoe for free. Purchase shoes where you will get better service. I called back and told the assistant manager not to give false hope to customers that Shoe Diva will help them with a defective shoe. The assistant manager was nice and apologized for my experience! Scheels is always helpful with repairs or customer concerns. I can't recommend Shoe Diva to anyone! read more

I will never shop here again. They are not clear and do not notify their customers about their return policy. I recently purchased a pair of UGG boots for my wife at this store for her birthday. She ended up not caring for the boot I picked out so instead we went out shopping and found a pair that she did like at another store. When I went back to Shoe Diva the very next day to return the boots I was told it was exchange or store credit only. If I didn't like it I could take it up with Karla the manager/owner on Saturday. Well I just got back from talking with Karla. Not only was she not accommodating to my request for a refund, she was very rude and very unprofessional. I initially started out with kindness but I ended up being pretty angry by the way she talked to me and belittled me and treated me. When I told her I will never shop here again nor will my wife and we will spread the word to our friends. Her response,"if your wife and your friends are anything like you we wouldn't want them to shop here anyway!" I am shocked how this woman can not only be a store manager but how she can even keep this store open. I clearly am not the only one who feels this way. Worst experience ever!!! Bought a pair of toms a style of shoe I love, this store has the best selection... However I'll never return! I needed a size and had to wait for the snooty employees to finish their conversation before I could get it. I bought the shoes but changed my mind and tried to return, well they don't except returns and only do store credit. I took the Credit after the employees and manager talked down to me and made me feel bad. I went back to complain to the manager and her two goons aka employees stood by and rolled their eyes while the manager lectured me about how great they are and how I was WRONG! I couldn't believe it!!!! The manager then said I was rude and that her employees did treat me with good service... I informed the manager that she couldn't tell me how I felt.
