He said he couldn't fix anymore and would have to make a new ring. My mom passed away so I called to see if he could possibly put a rush on it. This was after having for 5 months. That is when I found that it was sent out.....he wasn't even making it. My ring was not even in PA. When I did finally get to pick it up-it was NOT MY RING AT ALL. Total different design. Main diamond was set down, wider setting, with a thinner band. Did not match my wedding bands. Gary said he would have to send away again. Told me it would take 3-4 weeks. After 5 more months, I FINALLY got a return message. I went yesterday to pick up. NOTHING was done at all-NOTHING in 5 months. He claims that he sent it to several different jewelers in New York and they all said the same thing. It is good as is gets. Gary argued with me, told me that he new I would be unhappy. When I said what did you expect, it wasn't changed. Terrible customer service. Slow production. Doesn't listen to the customer. Does what he wants. Not even sure if they are my diamonds. Heart is broken!!!

I'd been completely excluded from the transaction yet I just handed you over $100. In the car I asked my friend if he'd noticed anything about the interaction? Yeah, he'd seen it all too. I want to let you know about Bob's expertise with musical instruments. My Instrument of Choice is an old closed-hole Pearl flute I purchased used a couple decades ago. It's provided me many years of happy creative musical expression. I confess - I have been a negligent flautist and not once did I ever take my friend in for professional maintenance. The longer I didn't do well by my flute, the more dread built up about the diagnosis if and when I finally brought her for a wellness check. You know, kind'ave like putting off going to the dentist? Ok - I may be stretching it. You know what I like about doing business with Bob? He not only has the expertise - the man has passion for what he does - and I felt lighter after dropping off a win instrument needing tender loving care. I stopped in today for the first time in years and not much has changed. There are two sweet pups roaming around the business. I'm normally terrified of dogs but these two cool in my book! The staff is just great. Down to earth, knowledgeable, and seem to genuinely love their work. I was in desperate need of cycling shoes and they hooked me up in about five minutes. Their prices are comparable to online retailers, and slightly lower than other brick and mortar shoe stores (this is a bike shop that just so happens to carry cycling shoes). All in all, this place feels like home.
