The least you can do is change your hours so people don't make trips to your store when it is supposed to be opened and then walk up and it is closed. I enjoy looking here for the items I didn't know I needed but immediately find useful. My last few trips to DSW have been more lackluster. I found quite a few that were appropriate, but couldn't find any in my size! i couldn't even find a size that "work out in a pinch." I like that they have my purchase info on file so that I can easily replicate an order and also keep my other choices in the queue when I'm ready to add to my collection. Prices are comparable to other retailers, including online options. Store is clean, well maintained, and inviting. Parking lot and adjacent roads can be a bit cramped and congested, so I try to visit the shop during less busy weekday hours to reduce my stress.

An older lady who carried herself as if she was the owner was helping a customer at the register. Another woman was standing in line behind the first customer. A cat jumped on the counter in front of the customer at the register. It made her visibly uncomfortable and she stepped back a few feet The store representative said nothing and left the cat in place. When she finished the transaction, she left the register to help a customer who was seated. She said nothing to the lady who was waiting in line. She said nothing to me. Run your business the way you want, but when the products you sell are available on Amazon at far lower prices, know that there are some things people will not put up with. The checkout setup at Sam's gives my clients a great opportunity to practice, and the employees have never made us feel rushed. If anyone is huffing and puffing impatiently, it's usually another customer. Thankfully, even that is pretty rare. The samples are another unexpected win! They give my clients a natural opportunity to practice communication skills, and the employees handing them out have always been incredibly patient and friendly. Even when the store is busy and chaotic, no one seems bothered by us taking an extra minute. And can we talk about how CLEAN this store is? Exceptionally clean. Products are stocked, clothes are actually folded, food is where food belongs--it's amazing. Even the Sam's Café, which happens to be a favorite of one of my clients, is consistently clean. This store definitely looks newer here in Dixie Manor even though this building is very old as well. This store they have a loss prevention officer at the front as you enter. Officer let me in through the rope so that's a new thing as well. I was impressed with the layout, quality and quantity of the store, idk if it was due to shoplifting or employees not stocking the shelves . They seem to have more in stock than at the last store and it's more clean and organized. Will I be back, I'd say yes.
