He's fun and really good with kids of any age, smart, and patient when explaining things to us as parents. He also takes our own opinions into consideration when making a health plan for the kids, which hasn't been common in our experience. We've been going to him for almost 2 years now and the front office staff can be hit or miss sometimes, but the care we get from Dr Davis and his team is the best around. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a pediatrician!

The receptionist is so nice not a split racism in her eyes in her spirit I was taken four blood pressure medicines. Until I seen doctor Jessica Skinner a family nurse practitioner she cares about her patients now I'm down to 2 blood pressure pills. This doctor I recommend if you are in the Rockford Illinois area or Loves Park area make sure you go and asks for her. She takes time and listen to her patients even on her off days she stills call and check on her patients. If you are sick she will go to Extreme measures to make sure that you are 200% healthy. She loves everybody regardless of race color religion or creed or sexual orientation she loves you like a human being. The staff is wonderful. Whatever the problem is don't hesitate talk to her she will listen to you and she will find a solution to your problem. She will go to the extra mile to make sure that her work is complete. I recommend no other doctor but her. Some doctors and Nurse practitioners live so far away from this area it's cost some gas and time. To go to work but she's making a sacrifice to make sure that her Patients are well taken care of she care about your well being.and your health. Especially diseases like high blood pressure cancer diabetes and etc she care. She send you to a lot of specialist If she cannot find a solution. But at the end of the day she still care I've never met a doctor like this A day in my life until I found her. She is wonderful she is great there a few doctors out here that doesn't care about their Patients they only there for a pay check. Some doctors will go to the extreme mile to make sure that they care about your health and your spirit I live one hour away from this Clinic but I don't care I will go to that extra mile to come to this doctor because I know she's going to do an excellent and wonderful job I don't even care if my insurance paid this for clinic $1,000. As long as I am 100% healthy that's what all matters children elderly specially adults if you need a clinic and a specialist this is the place. She Will write you a prescription and she wants to see you in a week to see if you help me if you missed the appointment she will get on you that someone that truly cares. Despite of negativity what people will say about this clinic I think otherwise they are not prejudice to me. No Bigotry no racism whatsoever I've never seen it all I see is a beautiful spirit that loves her patients. This clinic I give it 500 stars up

The Surgical team did a good job on my family, but did not keep me updated. Wasn't allowed to see them in recovery, waited 4+ hours for a room. Nurses on the floor are doing their best. Very patient and friendly. The doctor hasn't kept me informed. They had to go back in for more bacteria, I found out from the patient. I wasn't notified by the doctor about having to go back in for more surgery and then never told how the surgery went. I just wanted to be informed.

There are simply not enough words to express my gratitude to everyone at Heal To Thrive, especially…read moreMrs. Davis. Like many daughters, I was very protective of my mom. Trusting someone else with her care when I wasn't there was incredibly difficult. I worried whether anyone could care for her with the same patience, kindness, and respect that I would. Those worries disappeared much sooner than I ever expected because of the wonderful people at Heal To Thrive. The caregivers were dependable, kind, and highly skilled. They knew how to respectfully help my mom with the everyday tasks that had become difficult for her while always preserving her dignity and independence. Their experience gave me confidence that she was receiving excellent care. The caregivers and my mom (and me) became close in a short amount of time. They shared stories, ate meals together, and watched my mom's favorite TV programs. Mrs. Davis was an invaluable source of support for both my mom and me. She knew I was hesitant at first, but with her thoughtful guidance and professionalism, she quickly earned my trust. She helped me navigate situations I had never faced before, and her genuine care extended far beyond her role. Every caregiver we met was wonderful. Although I won't identify them individually to respect their privacy, I am deeply grateful for the kindness and care each of them showed my mom. Thank you, Heal To Thrive. ---Susan 2026

I always look forward to spending time on their table because it makes such a huge difference in how my body feels. A few reasons I love Freedlunds: 1. I can get adjusted without the cracking and popping because I'm chicken and I'll yelp (no pun intended) when it happens. Buuut sometimes I need a good crack to release the tightness and Amy is your girl for that. 2. It's easy in and out. The wait is minimal and the adjustment is quick. If you're busy this is a great plus. 3. The atmosphere they provide is calm and caring. You really feel good being in their space. And you know they care about you. That's priceless. 4. They have a nutritionist, Carrie, that brings a whole other realm of wellness. I've done the brain span test and it's given me great info as to the health of my body & brain and what I could do about it. 5. They carry a very high quality line of supplements to support your wellness. It's chosen by Carrie and heather and you know it's vetted as effective and clean. And they are reasonably priced. 6. The ladies in reception are friendly and fun to talk to. 7. They have great hours that accommodate you no matter what your schedule. Great place. Great people. Great service. 100% recommend.

First of all, Dr.Biren Shah is a very great doctor and a kind person. This has nothing to do with…read morehis professionalism. The customer service at the front desk is absolutely concerning. I have called and left messages, but there is no response. I called today to get some answers and pay my bill. I talked to someone who was very short with me; which I allowed to get me short. and would not give me her name to me after I was made to feel awful because of my frustration, then she hung up on me. She told me the doctor told the front desk not to call me back because the diagnostic clinic can call insurance. She said, "It's on them." So, does that mean I don't deserve a call back to inform me about procedures that I don't know about? I know my mistake, and I owned it . Didn't think about an allergic reaction to contrast dye when I wrote out my paperwork. I got a call back. Supposedly, they call the imaging clinic. During the conversation, I was told that the clinic had called me several times. I looked at my phone history, and that wasn't true. I also have call history with the unanswered calls from the doctor's office. I really wanted this to be a step towards solution. I'm not really sure about it now.

And he took an X-ray to show my damage big toe bone that healed incorrectly after it was broke. He informed me the procedure I needed to correct this is called Hallux Rigidus Hemi Implant. In other words, I needed to have my big toe joint repaired. So I researched this, watched the procedure on YouTube. Wrote down questions about this, the Implant piece and other procedures and met with him again. He was very patient with my inquiries and explained how over the years and with many, many surgeries under his belt, how this one was correct and why. At that time, I told him how I was battling with plantar fasciitis for about a year, and he went thru all of the remedies I needed to do on my own to correct. Once he realized I had tried them all unsuccessfully, he gave me a steroid injection right there and then. And when he told me it was going to be painful, he wasn't kidding. It took 3 days of pain for that steroid shot to work, but I know have relief. I also had the surgery. 1 month post op and I still have a ways to go.
