I received my federal taxes shortly after filing and found they were off by $527.48 to the good thank goodness. I then received my Alabama taxes and they were off by $37.00, again to the good thank goodness. I didnt receive my Georgia taxes so I went to the "where's my refund" link to check and they didn't show my taxes at all. I tried again a few weekjs later and recieved the same message, no taxes found. I called Lisa's office and left a voice message on a Monday. No reply call. I called the next Monday and left another voice message, waited a week and no reply, I called again the next Monday, and someone answered the phone, and I had to leave another message. I informed the worker/receptionist what had happened, and I needed Lisa to return my call so we could figure it out. Again, no reply call. I decided to redo my taxes online so I could get a printout of the Georgia taxes to mail in and in reviewing my federal 1040, I noticed an error. She had put in my gambling winnings but failed to put in my losses, which would also have increased my refund. If she would have returned my calls and completed an amendment for me AND turned in my GA taxes, I would have been happy, however, not taking responsib8ility and avoiding me is not good business, therefore, I cannot recommend this business.

You can pay from your return or up front (through many different methods). I've done my taxes from 1700 miles away, and they make it work. Bottom line, taxes suck. Against my better judgment, I allowed them to file my taxes and did not think to ask the fee. I have never paid more than $150 to file my taxes. I was told taxes would be in my bank account in about two to three weeks. 2 months later, no taxes. I finally find out they did not file my taxes electronically correctly. They supposedly fixed the issue and I was able to pick up a check for my taxes up two additional weeks later from their office. Then lo and behold, I notice they charged me $544 to file my taxes!!! This is no exaggeration. I called the office to raise cain only to be told that I should have asked what the fee was prior to filing and they come up with some lame excuse that is for the different types of filing I used. I am a single mom that has been filing head of household for the last 5 years, nothing has changed. I didn't get more money back for my taxes. DO NOT USE THIS TAX SERVICE unless you have a guarantee in writing showing exactly what you are expected to pay. I will NEVER use this place again.
