Shipt had a four week free trial membership at the beginning of the pandemic. This was a much needed service because AmazonFresh and WholeFoods were not delivering to new customers at that time. I never had any issues with ordering or delivery. I used a credit card with a set limit so Shipt was not able to charge membership fees before the free trial was up (although they tried to place a hold on my card a few days before the next billing cycle). Based on my experience, I would recommend Shipt if there are no other options available. read more

I ordered a delivery order with Meijer and they use Shipt. Never used Shipt before, and never will again! Still have not received my order. It went from being delivered yesterday from 1-2, to them rescheduling it by the hour. I finally called when it got rescheduled for 9-10 pm. Rescheduled it for following day between 8-9 am, still got rescheduled . No reason it couldn't get delivered this morning. I will never order through them again. Oh btw, they put a hold on your money, and can take days to get it back. This was absolutely not worth it. Go with Kroger instead! I received a message that my order was being shopped, Gavin messaged me about a substitution. 50 minutes later, I messaged Gavin to ask if he was at Target. He asked for my address and order number. He then tells me he doesn't have my order. He never had my order. So I guess Shipt lied when they said Gavin was shopping for my order. I must have imagined receiving a message from Gavin asking for approval for a substitution. I got another message saying my order would be delivered 7-8. I got another message saying it would be delivered 8-9.Then I got another one saying my order would be delivered Dec. 26th!! I called customer service.I was told Gavin told them the store was closing, which is a total lie! He stated my order of 12 items at 6:35, the store was open until 8:00. I'm positive his phone jingled from shipt for an order for more money than my $85.00 order, so he stopped shopping my order to shop their's. You don't get more unprofessional, rude, and greedier than thar. I'm disabled and no longer drive. For Target and Shipt to contact me FOUR HOURS after I placed my order to tell me the Christmas presents I ordered wouldn't be delivered until TWO DAYS after I placed my SAME DAY DELIVERY order is egregious, and so so so unprofessional. I was a shopper for this company for more than 3 years and completed close to 2,000 orders. However, like all gig economy apps, your ability to work is based on a vague rating system where if you fall below a certain rating you will be fired without any chance to voice your side of the story. It does not take many rating under 5 stars to fall below their acceptable threshold and be terminated, There are no comments giving as to why a customer gives a low rating so no way to determine what I did wrong. The "driver support" representatives are unable to provide any assistance or guidance on the customer ratings. Despite my 3 years of providing excellent service above and beyond for many customers, my rating dropped due to things not within my control. For example, if the store was out of stock, I would try to contact the customer, however often the customer would not respond. Eventually I delivered the order and when the customer saw that I substituted a jar of peanut butter or they didn't get their preferred deodorant, they would give me 1-star. So basically I was fired because the store was out of a specific deodorant and the customer did not bother to respond to my request to pick a substitute. Be very careful working for this company. I watched them lose accounts they had with Wakefern and CVS which significantly reduced the amount of earning opportunities in my area. They are owned by Target which is basically a small step above Walmart so most of their delivery orders are from there. The Target customer base for the most part are much more shady compared to some of the stores that Shipt shops for. I will miss some of my frequent "preferred" customers who tipped very well and made the job worthwhile. Sorry for the long review but since Shipt has ignored my deactivation appeal, I thought it would be best to share my concerns with the BBB to hopefully provide a warning to anyone who decides to sign up to shop with Shipt. I signed up for Shipt. Most things are a little overpriced, but I figured it was worth having delivery available for the moment. However - I was charged 84$ for a small bag of potatoes, about 15 gold potatoes less than a lime sized each.:. It is 5$/each. This should be per bag. Or per pound. I was charged looking back 27$ for 5 Yukon potatoes my previous order and didn't notice. Many things are just slightly more, then there's this. And my 19$ honeydew. So, they don't answer phones. Respond to emails. Answer chats. I tried to cancel my membership online but get a error message. Worst experience. Item was to be picked up at Best Buy and delivered. First driver never showed. Second driver showed at 8:43pm and did not deliver the item so they took it home overnight and returned it to the store at 5:45pm the next day! According to shipt or Best Buy policy, if item is returned then the order is canceled and you are out of luck. Your order is cancelled. You also can't rate the delivery person unless they deliver the item so no one knows how reliable they actually are. read more

I had over $300 for two days work. When I asked if I was going to get my money owed, they said they could no longer speak to me and hung up. I can't believe this. I would avoid this company as a shopper and a customer. This one lady wanted a compact mirror and instead the app had me scan a full length. can not believe just how bad Targets grocery delivery service is! They use Shipt. It is now 12 midnight and my order was suppose to be here between 9-10pm this evening. Each time we developed our grocery list with Meijer on line and each time our shopper has communicated with us while they were shopping using messages on our phone. You have to be shopping with them the whole time. They will give you options if there is something on your list that is not available . Its great. Today our shopper was Joey and he did a perfect job. Every shopper has been careful with mask and gloves and place your order near your door and then keep a safe distance. I ordered from target and the original order including a $9.99 shipping charge was $51.64. My bank was charged $64.55 for the order. I called Target and as I understand it shipt charges that extra money just in case they have issues and will need to do more work gathering the items for the order and if all goes well with the gathering of items they would return my $12.91 in a week? This is not good customer service. I had issues with target/shipt over a year ago where I order items totaling around $66 and I was charged $100 after shipt added all sorts of charges on to the order. Not to mention I got my order at 8:30 PM about 7 hours after the original delivery time I selected. A charge for a substitution seriously? In my day what you were charged on the order is what you paid! Issues coming up is part and parcel of doing business. Putting the customer first and doing the work is all part of doing business. But gouging customers is not good business! Are these young people afraid of doing extra work if needed? It seems going the extra mile for your customer will cost now. The shoppers would be rude, not trying to help when ask what was in stock? THEY WOULD GIVE AN ATTITUDE. After they would do the shopping, i would get the receipt via email and go thru it with my friend, and lots of times items would be missing, so of course we would mark it as so. Sometimes the shopper would throw the bag on the floor by the door and glass items would break or just being plain rude, but we never would complain just give them one star, hoping not to get them again.SHIPT need to give proper training to their employees on how to treat people. Shipt cancelled my time and rescheduled it from 10 am to 2-3. pm. shopper began order at 305 pm. said at 315 they were banging on door for 15 mins. this is a lie. Then received a text saying order was returned to store. I called shipt and was advised that they would reschedule the order between five and six. The shopper contacted me said they begin the order we were texting back-and-forth then both of us got a cancellation from Shipt and I texted her immediately and she said did you try to cancel and I said no I did not want to cancel so we absolutely need the order And I said no please do the order she confirmed that she would order half an hour later conversation has been terminated when I tried to cancel my account. I had to go through overseas locations, Kenya, Philippines, and Kenya, and then finally somebody in the United States, who was not very friendly , what happened if Shipt doesn't care alphabet it's Customer Service do its customer base I don't care enough about shiPt I canceled my order. While I haven't personally used Shipt in the Deland * Deltona * Flagler Beach * New Smyrna Beach * Ormond Beach * Palm Coast area, I have used it in Jacksonville, and wanted to get the word out that hey Volusia and Flagler counties.... IT'S HERE!!! In a nutshell: There is a fee (And a couple of options to choose from, $14 for a monthly trial, to see if you like it, or $99 for a yearly membership.) After that, orders over $35 do not have a delivery fee.) First of all, it's super easy to use. You can go to the website, or download the app, and do quick searches for what you need. You can do a basic search, or go to categories, and I love that the pictures will pop up so you know you are getting what you want. Then place your order, and you will get a time frame for when your groceries will be delivered. :) YAY!!! The Shipt shopper will text you to let you know if they are out of something, and ask if you'd prefer this or that as a replacement, and I think after the Publix and Shipt companies continue to work together, the process will get smoother. But seriously, despite that teeny tiny fact, it's totally worth it. For this area, I think it's a great service. I know in some parts of the county, the median age is a bit older, so it may help some folks out that can't/or don't want to leave the house or carry a ton of groceries inside.
