I was shocked to find a low rear passenger tire. What makes this additionally alarming was we had just bought new tires from PepBoys 2-weeks earlier. We got Emergency Services to put our donut on and finished our trip to Ventnor City. Looking to find someone to get us out of our predicament the guy at Autozone recommended A.G Payless Tire Shop on Albany in Atlantic City and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. Rosa was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to understand my needs, ensuring I got the perfect tires for my car. The service was swift and efficient--I was out of there in 30-minutes. They even provided valuable maintenance tips to help extend the life of my new tires. What impressed me the most was their commitment to customer satisfaction. They went above and beyond to ensure I left the shop with a smile. He struts around with the biggest ego in the room, barking at his employees and treating them like trash. The staff deserve medals for putting up with him, because working under someone this toxic has to be hell. It's the textbook definition of short man syndrome--loud, insecure, and desperate to feel in control. I've dealt with tough business owners before, but never someone this unprofessional and pathetic. If one of these new carwash facilities just tried to separate themselves from all the others they would probably be very successful. Spray and soft brush the vehicles at entry, slow the wash down just a little bit this wash isn't overly fast but a little slower would be nice, and please have someone dry the windows and mirrors. Also like all the other new places they have self service vacuums. I've been driving since 1987. Up until the 2000's vacuuming and drying came with the majority of drive thru carwash locations. They called her an hour and half later saying it's ready and that it will be $440 and she doesn't know much about cars so she called me and asked me if that was normal. I called them and asked them what they did and they tried to tell me they worked on the car for 3.5 hours, I'm in Maryland and I sell cars and my husband does our own basic maintenance on our cars, you can do your own oil change in 15-30 mins. Same with most fluid changes. He told me my aunt had "too much oil in the engine so I had to clean the engine" thinking I'm a dumbass and I said if a car has too much oil you just do a regular oil change and drain it out or syphon it out which takes even less time than draining it. No parts are being removed or replaced and I told him that, then he said he had to buy Honda transmission fluids. I give him props for doing at least that but 1 quart is $12 and the car only needs 3.6 quarts per owners manual so no more than $50 all together and again, he is just draining the oil fluid and refilling it with new fluid. With the 4 quarts of oil, a new oil filter and 4 quarts of transmission fluid should be no more than $90. Labor should be no more than 1 hour. If labor costed $95 an hour and you add the parts it should be 185 and than after tax, it's like 200. This bill doesn't have anything written on it. Every word is spelled wrong. This is a rip off, do they even have a license to operate?
