There were 3-4 lanes open and we found out the first 3 lanes (from left to right) filtered into the same car wash lane. The outermost right lane went directly to the other car wash lane. Something to note when faced with long lines. In any case, the wait went by quickly. Select the type of car wash you want though right now it was set at $6.99 with options to add other premium services from $2 onwards. Once payment was made, you joined the other cars waiting to enter the car wash area. There were attendants guiding you - set car in neutral, turn off wipers etc. There were wheels or something like a conveyor belt thing to move your car through the car wash. This was not touchless as the brushes and wipers would touch the car. It was a quick process lasting about 2 mins for each car. As many cars fed into one lane, I wondered how the attendant would know if any car had selected any premium add on since no receipt was shown or car license plate keyed in. My partner was impressed with the results, especially for the promo price. His car was clean with no sticky residue or streaks. The car ahead of us was super dusty and it went out spotless too. I had put my car into a touchless car wash before and found that the back part was not cleaned properly. Over here, the back was clean. However I noticed faint scratches on my partner's car. He said they were already there and needed buffing to remove them. So do it at your own comfort level. read more

I went to get a car wash on my van and the guy was so busy on the telephone. Supposedly with work completely unacceptable. When you're talking to a customer then he decides to go to my aerial and take it off my van. Doesn't even tell me what he is doing. He's trying to take it off with a crescent wrench my 2000 Sienna. Then the manager is trying to give him excuses saying that it's okay for him to talk to managers when he's on the telephone. Completely unacceptable. We have been here before over 20 times. We will never be coming back. They could have broke my van and didn't care. If I was able to give zero Stars I would have. The employee should not be working there. He's worried. read more

I love this auto wash. It's huge and has a lot of room for busy days when there are many cars lined up. There are several vacuum stations as well. Priced reasonably especially if you have a large vehicle such as a family van or big truck. read more

This place is right near my house so when my car was the victim of an egg-ing, I decided to try it out. It started off nice because you can choose the type of wash you wanted and pay by card right at a drive-through machine, but everything else went downhill from there. I paid for the second tier washing package (I think it might have been called the silver package?) and went on my way. Only later did I realize that everyone goes in the same queue and there is no differentiation as to what package you pay for, so I had wasted my money on getting the same wash as the cheapest one. To make it even worse, the wash barely counted as a wash - the egg is still on the side of my car and this is what the back of my car looked like after the wash - lots of dirt! Will not be going back here and I do not recommend others do either read more

I've been using this location since it opened up as it is conveniently close to where I live. Prior to this I was using the touchless wash at the esso. But I liked how clean this car wash got. However, if you come here and drive an f150 your gonna have to make a compromise. One that I didn't plan on making and if I'd known prior I would have stuck to my trusty touchless esso wash. Your trucks gonna get scratched. Every. Single. Time. I would get these weird horizontal scratches on the side of my truck bed and never figured out where they were coming from. Until most recently, I got a nice 3" scratch right on my rear driver side door. Right after I went through the wash... I will be emailing the company complaining as there have been many bad reviews and seems like nothing's been done about it. At the least warn people with larger more square vehicles that there car is gonna get scratched to . Will never be going back. Thanks for reading. read more

This car wash will damage your vehicle and they will not "fix it" as they promised when they saw on video - their roller dropping onto our truck and it caused damage. It bent and broke the base of our radio antenna, dented side body panel of truck. It will have to be replaced. All they were going to replace was bent antenna and broken base piece. No mention of the dent and cracked paint. They will not return your calls, emails. I contacted ICBC to report the damage, ICBC has tried numerous times to contact the manager - Billy. Very futuristic place to wash your car. There's several vacuums available with a very cool design. You'll not miss this place at night with all the colourful lights. The automatic machines to wash your car did an amazing job on my car. Loved that it's a big space, all automatic, and the multiple fancy options. I was in a rush so I tried the fasted option but can't wait to go back to try the lava foam wash! Not sure if it's worth it, but it looks too fun not to try it. read more

I brought my van through it wasn't dirty how much and when I came out it was still dirty I went to the attendant and they say there's nothing you can do so basically I just wasted $20 on a wash I don't recommend this for anyone to come to go through a shower of water and pay 20+ dollars I sure wasted my money today I should've checked the reviews on this place one star I'm giving it one star to read more

Shine Auto Wash (Coquitlam) damages cars and management will take zero responsibility for it. They will bring you in the office to fill out an "incident" form and then send you on your way with a promise to contact you. They will not contact you and will even withhold the tapes and photos of the "incident" to ICBC because they know they are incriminating. Such a shady and unethical business. Stay away! My tire was damaged being pulled along the track, my vehicle actually went off the automated track and they claimed i turned my wheels which i did not. My hands weren't even on the steering wheel, i was playing around on my phone and my vehicle was covered with foam. Why would i start trying to drive in the middle of my car wash? Such a joke. Ended up with over $2000 damage to my own car as it went off track into the side of the car wash mechanism and 3 cars piled into each other behind me. They claimed no fault and my only recourse was to take them to court. I didn't because it wasn't the worth the time and money required for me to do so. I paid the ICBC deductible and Shine gets away with damaging 4 cars and zero consequences. Unbelievable. read more

-WARNING: SHINE AUTO WASH MAY DAMAGE YOUR VEHICLE- I took my car in for a wash on May 13th and selected the "Gold" option with a couple of add-ons. I've used Shine Auto's services before but at the Burnaby location. This was my first time at Coquitlam. Half-way through the wash, I heard an audible 'snap' from the top of my car. As I exited the wash and parked my car, I inspected the top and immediately noticed a molding was ripped right off. The person working at the time, Lindsay, had me fill out an incident report and told me that a manager would call me the next day. I did not get a call over the next couple of days and I had to follow up with them by email on their website. That was when I received a call from the manager, Billy. Not only was he unapologetic on our call of the inconvenience and incident, he pointed out that they had signage on site to advising that 'customers should be taping down any moldings or trims' to prevent these situations... What a load of BS. There were no visible or clear signage warning as I drove through and not only that, it is also unreasonable to tell your customers 'tape down all moldings/trim'. He also told me 'that it's a trim piece you can easily snap back on and that older car models have these trim.' My car is 2018 which I don't necessarily define as an old car and either way also don't understand point of his comment. Is it that people with older cars shouldn't use their service? Anyhow, the impression I got with Billy after our phone call left me feeling that he wasn't going to take accountability. I would dissuade anyone from giving them your business or using their service (even if free) unless you want to risk damages to your car. Terrible business and customer service. read more

Don't go to this car wash. What a scam. No management on the premises. They ask to clean your car before you go through their car wash. We have a truck and they refused to wash it because it had few leaves in the truck bad. They gave us the refund receipt which they didn't honour the second time we came because they had no management. No manual override. No pre clean, no brushes. I took my truck through shine auto wash in Coquitlam. When I looked at my truck there were several areas that didn't get cleaned. When I talked to Billy the manager and told him of my issues he only focused on the bird poop and proceeded to tell me all about the procedure to clean bird poop and brushed me off without even looking at my vehicle telling me they wouldn't run it through again. Not only a bad wash but the manager has horrible customer service. I don't recommend this place. read more

I drive a 2015 subaru outback. My car was dirty after coming back from snowboarding. So I take it to the car wash right. So I went to Shine Auto by Woolridge and rolled up to pay for Gold package. My subaru doesn't come out clean. It has a dirty rear end. I don't know about anyone else but a dirty rear end is a negative for me. I talk with the service guys to see if they have a pressure washer hose...nope. Manager and service guys both give me what seems like a script about the how their machines can't handle the sexy curves on my subaru. You guys are exterior car wash professionals and if cars are coming out dirty you should fix it. I dont know of any other service that can get away with this. Price is decent. Cleans well, but scratches your vehicle. My truck and parent's 4Runner both have surface scratches/marks from the brushes. Would not recommend. Possibly okay for a small car? Be warned. read more

Today at 12:00 pm i went through and the attendant stopped me and wouldn't allow me to come through with my fixed Yakima roof rack. My vehicle with the roof rack has been through several times this car wash with no problem at all. No one had stopped me from going through before. The attendant was very rude and said "someone must not have been doing there job" . Not gonna come through here anymore, super expensive and not even touchless. So not worth it at all. I will recommend everyone i speak to to never visit this location ever. read more

My car got the living crap beat out of it! Thought I would try it out, beautiful new location, must have state of the art new technology and machines right? WRONG! I thought it was a bit weird that the attendant was walking around checking everything on my car before going in, he even grabbed my antenna and jiggled it and asked if it could be removed? Um, no. Well apparently it's because this car wash is so aggressive that things get ripped right off your car! I was shocked! Unfortunately I could do nothing but sit there while my car was dragged through the process on the conveyor belt. Tons of little scratches and marks all over and a couple new chips on the top of my hood. Now I have to take it for a cut polish just to get the damage of the car wash out. DO NOT take your vehicle here if concerned about it's appearance. After using this facility my car has been extremely scratched, and to my concern nothing has been done about it. I contacted the business VIA incident report on site directly after using the facility and noticing major scratches to roof trunk and sides of my car. After sending multiple pictures of the damage and an extensive conversation about the time and location I used. I was sent the company's "high tech" video surveillance images. They were NOT satisfactory and showed ZERO damage to my car before I entered their facility. Unfortunately the company has chosen to do nothing about this, much like MULTIPLE other reviews I have read. Although due to the age of my car I will not be pursuing this any further If you have had issues with this company and are looking to move forward Do not hesitate to contact me. I can supply you with multiple images of my car as well as my written statement. Please take this into consideration before making a horrible disicion to use this car wash. When I posted this review on google I received a message from the business stating: Hello Emma, as our manager offered, you are welcome to come in and see the HD video of your car entering the wash with the damage you are accusing us of already on the vehicle. We are sorry the pictures we supplied were not able to properly represent this but are more than happy to show you the video where it is clearly visible. Unfortunatly this matter isn't worth my time or energy. I am unsure why I would not have received clear images showing damage to my car from the start of this endeavour. Ok - I have shared this story over and over again! So very very disappointed in the service. I had my white SUV washed and pulled over after to have a looksie. Lots of spots and yellow stains - not sure what was with that. Called (AJ) the owner/manager.... left over 5 messages and had to call the Vancouver office to have him 'finally' return my call. He called back and was very 'vacant'. Seriously did not offer any suggestions at all - was not phased or concerned about my service. I asked if possible for another 'wash"....and the answer was quickly ... No, I'm sorry we don't do that! So in summary, I'm not sure this new location will do well. I did visit the Vancouver location (Terminal) last summer and was fine - not sure if they are the same owners...... But I seriously can't believe the customer service I received! This car wash looks great. It's brand new, and I was expecting a good cleaning of my vehicle. However the rinse was so short, it did not remove the soap nor some of the dirty water that was used just before the rinse. My vehicle is left with spots. (I chose the $13 wash). read more

Paid $18 for "gold" wash. Not exactly as advertised. The car wasn't clean and the squished bugs remained exactly where they were all over the front of the car. Used the vacuum and it kept falling apart while the 3 minutes ticked away. Terrible wash and terrible vacuum. Go somewhere else! read more

I must agree with the low reviews for this company. I experienced a rear-end accident inside the tunnel of the car wash, which ICBC placed blame on Shine Auto Wash to be 100% responsible. This company does not care, and would only advise me to seek legal advice &/or action. The machines did not even clean my SUV after the accident inside it. SUPER not thrilled....went to try this cool looking new auto wash out for the first time on sunday this week and was happy enough until later that night when I got home and looked at my car and realized that the 23$ car wash I paid for was DEFINATELY not worth it....I get a far better one at the WAVE carwash in Chilliwack for 10$ less....there were greasy oily spots all up the sides of my car, since I paid for the tire shine I can only assume that it was due to that that I have all this greasy spotted mess on my black car....wont be going here again! read more
