To my knowledge, her office is still "Open for Business" in the location/address located in Manteca, California & listed here on this Yelp Business listing. I select the telephone as it's a notable distance from my residence when traveling. I'm still working on myself to be the best thing I can be and with Kristin's tutelage & education, it's always working & a work-in-progress; I'm totally good with that & with the strides I continue to make in my thinking and feeling which is a huge aspect to any living creature. Kristin has ALWAYS been there for me during CRITICAL EMOTIONAL/PHYSIOLOGICALLY uncomfortable times. These acts of morality & kindness have saved my existence. On a medication side-note some changes to my medications from my Psychiatrist also interest Kristin as she and my Psychiatrist of 5+ years & counting, Dr. Zainab Al-Dhaher (REMOTE ZOOM appointments available currently) work together professionally to keep me in tip-top client condition. Kristin has told me, more than once, to refresh my memory, that certain parts of the "Diagnosed Psychiatric Psychosis", wasn't convinced and/or certain that is what I actually had. At one point, my diagnosis from Dr. Al-Dhaher included the words "IN REMISSION" next to the BiPolar Type 1, and I became afraid and exhilarated at the same time because I was unaware that "remission" was possible for the BiPolar Type 1 diagnosis. Either way, Kristin has a holistic approach to my treatment and is VERY HANDS ON as is Al-Dhaher (called fondly "Dr.A" by Kristin). I don't know what I'd do without both of them. I was considering a move to Vermont; Wallingford, Vermont U.S.A. but I don't believe I'll be able to locate the correct Psychotherapist that Kristin is all about and the same goes for my lifesaver Al-Dhaher. (She, Dr. Al-Dhaher is a WIZARD! with psychotropic meds & some supplements OTC and prescribed a vitamin; Vitamin B6 100Mg tabs daily with a daily dose of 800 currently, does a miraculous job at managing the Tardive Dyskinesia Symptoms!) (uncontrollable bodily movements including Nystagamus, and herky-jerky bodily movements) (unsure of spelling and not near a dictionary; sincere apologies). Kristin has always been 100% Supportive with me and my mental-health, including supporting my CHOICE to take daily prescribed (Rx.) therapeutics by my amazingly competent psychiatrist Dr. Zainab Al-Dhaher @Community Psychiatry. (She has more than 1 office location.) Lithium Carbonate ER (Extended Release) has been a GOD-SEND to my life and my relationships & LEXAPRO (used in the ethical treatment of Depression & ANXIETY) have saved my life without weight-gain & given me INSIGHT & CLARITY into my future where I once was hopeless. There's a ton more to describe regarding this psychotherapic/psychiatric journey but space is limited. I stand-behind both of my psychiatric treatment team members and their ACCURACY in helping me lead an awesome yet humorous life. I've learned that A GOOD SENSE OF HUMOR is a must when treating BiPolar Type 1. It took me a few years to truly digest & absorb that lived experience but now that I have, I see clearly, the path ahead-of-me. My NAMI friend Marnye (no confidential breech) is a believer in the humor advice as well and you know what? Lastly, My Mother is a self-less being in so many healthful ways. So much so that I asked her way back in the beginning of our in-person appointments with Dr. Al-Daher to please accompany me to each and every appointment as often as possible. Yesterday was my first visit to this facility. The acupuncturist is very knowledgeable and…read morefriendly. I have never had acupuncture and she made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. My wait was as long as it took me to fill out my general info on a form. I was taken into a good sized room that had a sink, bed - like table which was surprisingly comfy, acupuncture equipment, and a chair. Jenny (acupuncturist) explained what acupunture was and how it worked, then she checked my range of motion in several places. She gave me some recommendations for long term health. I then was given a gown to change into, then she started the needling. She explained what she was doing every step of the way. She was so fast with the needling that many times I didn't even know where had already put in the needles. After the needles (which had a hair-like thickness) she hooked me up to a electrode like pulsating machine, set heat lamps on my back, shut off the light, and i was able to take a 30 minute nap. She did check in on me during, as well. Afterward she messaged the areas where she had the needles with some type of oil. Overall I would have to say I was very pleasantly surprised at how relaxing and good the whole session felt. I would definitely recommend.

The first session was thorough - active listening about history, functional assessment, and a complete explanation of acupuncture process in understandable terms. The target areas of the body are cleansed with alcohol, a sterile single-use tiny-gauge (very fine) needle is placed, and e-stim may or may not be applied to the needle. An infrared lamp is also used during the treatment, which is personally my favorite because I tend to run cold and warmth is soothing. Jenny has a corporate career M-F and drives to Lathrop on Saturdays to help her clients in her licensed acupuncture practice. I plan to continue regular visits with Jenny for wellness promotion and to address any areas of discomfort that may creep up. I'm glad I decided to give acupuncture a try, and Jenny is a good match for me, so I'm pleased with the level of service and her abilities.
