Despite a recent service check showing the battery was fine, we found ourselves stranded before dawn with a failing battery. After a failed attempt at a 24-hour location that didn't have the part in stock, we found the AutoZone on Decatur Boulevard. Their site showed our battery in stock and a 6:00 AM opening time. We pulled up right at 6:00 AM. The Experience: Store manager Jair greeted us and was running the entire store solo that morning. Even as several customers filed in right at opening, Jair managed the crowd effortlessly. He balanced helping customers at the front desk and heading outside in the dark to install our new battery. The Outcome: Jair was incredibly pleasant, efficient, and calm under pressure. He had us taken care of and safely on our way to Colorado in no time.
