Although she is very much Western and academic in her approach, she doesn't dismiss the benefits of alternative medical therapies, assuming there is research to support them. The receptionists here are great and super friendly and helpful. Dr Nicolette was very warm and friendly as well. Took time to actually talk with me as a new patient and seemed interested in developing a relationship beyond just this visit. When an issue with the bill, the staff here actually worked with me to get that changed so that my visit would have been covered by my insurance. There's no way a Dr with one of the big hospitals in the area would have cared enough to do that. I don't actually go to the doctor much, as I'm (luckily) a pretty person. But I've actually been back to Dr Nicolette this year for a back issue and he displayed the same warmth and caring as he did my first visit. I arrived 10 minutes early, was brought back within five minutes to take my vitals, and then was told--without prior notice--that this was being treated as a "new patient appointment," not a checkup. That was confusing, since I had clearly booked a checkup. After that, I was left alone in a small exam room for over 40 minutes without any updates. I finally went to the front desk to find out what was happening and to confirm the nature of my appointment. I was told Irene was "behind" and that they don't do annual checkups until after a new patient intake, which no one mentioned at any point before or during the visit. Most doctors do both at once, since it involves the same information. They told me Irene would now see me, so I returned to the room--only to overhear Irene Spanos badmouthing me, clearly frustrated that I had "left the room," even though I had been sitting there for 40 minutes without any communication. To make things worse, some staff members overheard what she said and apologized to me, which shows this wasn't just a misunderstanding--it was unprofessional conduct. This experience made me feel disrespected, dismissed, and uncomfortable, and I will not be returning. I highly suggest finding another provider if you're looking for a professional and respectful medical office. Don't waste your time or money here.

I would not recommend this practice for any amount of money in the world. I was told that per the American medical Association. I had to see my primary care physician every three months. Turns out that was a LIE. It was company policy not the American medical Association's policy. Turns out they lie about a lot!!!!! I'm furious!!!!! I was also told that I could do telehealth appointments once I moved out of state. When I signed on for my last telehealth visit, the office had no problem taking my payment. About an hour before my appointment was supposed to start I received a phone call from the office saying that the doctor could no longer treat me because I lived out of state. I ended up having to call the office manager and pitch a fit because they were gonna keep my money for the appointment even though it was their fault for not informing me that they could no longer see me. When I asked how long this policy had been in place the receptionist told me they'd known they couldn't see out of state patients for 2 months before my appointment!!!! Do not trust this practice do not trust the doctors that run this practice. They are all about the money and could honestly care less about the patient. What an incredible disappointment.

I originally came in for a routine physical, which should have been fully covered by my insurance. Instead, I was billed for standard services like bloodwork. It took SIX MONTHS of repeated calls and back-and-forth to get this addressed. Every time you call, you're routed to a call center, which makes resolving anything even more difficult. After reading other reviews, it seems like this is a common issue here. On top of that, basic accuracy seems to be a problem. I'm 5'10" and fully grown, yet they initially recorded me as 6'1". When I questioned it, my chart was later updated to 5'6" -- which is wildly inaccurate and concerning. The most frustrating part: I specifically went in last fall to establish care and ensure continuity for a prescription after moving from NC. I clearly explained that I didn't need a refill at that time since my previous doctor had just sent one in. I was told that was fine and that I could simply call when I needed a refill. When I called today, they refused to fill it and said I'd need to come in for another appointment and pay again -- completely contradicting what I was previously told. Overall, this office is disorganized, inconsistent, and incredibly frustrating to deal with. I would AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

He's an awesome doctor…read more I've seen my share of Doctors and some of them will listen to your symptoms and give you a pill for each and every one of them without looking for the root of the problem. Not Dr. Giove.. Every time I've been in his office he's listened to what I've had to say, performed some tests to determine what the true cause is and then tells me what I need to take / do to remedy the problem. If you're paying out of pocket he's extremely understanding, and will go through the prescriptions and let you know which ones are critical and which are for which symptoms. E.G.: "This one's for nausea, and this one's the antibiotic that has the side effect of nausea, So, if you can handle the nausea or don't get the side effect you can probably do without the first one" Just. Freaking. Awesome!

I asked him to correct it, and he refused. His office manager called and said they could easily figure it out by listening to the recording of my visit. WHAT? This piece of crap did audio recordings of all of my office visits, and NEVER informed me. It's called a HIPAA violation. And him refusing to correct his false comments in his notes is called slander. I wouldn't do this to my worst enemy. What kind of a sick, demented doctor secretly records his office visits with you? I arrived and they informed me that their staff schedule it wrong and it was just a check up. I said I would reschedule and come back for my physical because that's all my insurance would cover. Dr Pagan said it was fine and she could do the physical while I was there. She then proceeded to do a full physical and full panel blood test. Then a month later I start getting huge bills for this visit. I called my insurance and they said it was not billed as a physical. I called the office to ask if they could change the bill to a physical and they refused (I actually called and spoke to them several times). Dr.Noemi Pagan even refused to admit that she did a physical. I am now stuck with a very large bill that I can't afford all because this Dr lied at the time of the appointment and isn't even humane enough to change the billing code when she knows she did a physical that day. DONT GO HERE OR YOU WILL BE UNJUSTLY BILLED AND THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU AS A HUMAN.
