Many things on the menu looked tempting but we didn't want to eat too heavy, so we settled for three pasta dishes - each of which was familiar yet with some unique and delicious twist. For instance, I had the linguine with clam sauce, which was accented with bottarga. The maltagliati with asparagus, red shrimp and salmon roe was outstanding. And for a meat dish, the bucatini with ragu was also delicious. Everything went down well with a delicious rose wine. I would love to come back some day to try more of the offerings on their menu.

#63-2016: Whilst I…read morewrite this review (@2AM) I am still half way (OK 3/4) drunk from drinking some 5 different beers.... If you were to ask me the names I'd be going "ehrm.... hhhhhummmm... eeeehh..." But, FEAR you not!!! For, the moment you step into this non descriptive beer temple... you will find a truly amazing knowledgeable (and refreshingly fluent in English) staff that will guide you through the 20-something pages of beers they have in Stock. .. Some are Draft, some bottled but you got a craving, they got the beer for ya... We started off with a light fruity beer for me and a off-guinness path for Alex... then I asked to spice things up (8.5% and slightly too bitter for my taste) and Alex to slow things down... then we met half way... Then we grabbed a bottled light (corona styled beer) with a cat on the bottle brand... Then we went to an ice cream parlor but felt we should get one more beer... and once more the staff was giving us a special.... I can't stress enough how chatty, down-to-earth, knowledgeable and affable the staff is... not to mention some of the all-men dream team was pretty darn hot (just a hint for the single ladies out there). Though you may just come away with a beer bottle to sip on your merry way... I suggest you make the effort to off the beaten path and on to this beer heaven. ... But... BEWARE... parties bigger than 13 will have to be split up. .. so... keep it under the limit and HAVE SOME AWESOME FUN!!! Peace out... that's all FOLKS

I especially don't like to be scorned or looked down by the trashy people who manage this rundown place. Get a shower and learn some good manners, fellas! I'm not a stuck up bit&c, I just hate to eat or drink in crappy places where everything is sticky dirty. It was much better when it was a rum bar. Stay away.

My first 2 Michelin star restaurant experience!…read more You definitely have to make reservations in advance; this experience will take at least 3-4 hours. A bit out of the way from the the central Milan area, but worth the trip! This is the most expensive meal I've had to the date. I ordered the Summer menu (shorter and cheaper than their Territories menu). The whole table must have the same menu since they bring everyone's next course at the same time and explain the dish in Italian or English (depending on your preference). There are a lot of course but each one is quite small. If there's something you do not like on the menu (which they let you preview before choosing), you can ask them to substitute it. I did not want the purple shrimp, so they offered to substitute it with a fish dish and ultimately served me the red mullet from their territories menu. I ended up trying a lot of new dishes here; it was my first time eating all of the fish they served and they did it well. Most of the other dishes were good but didn't stand out to me (e.g. the dishes with the veal). Surprisingly, my absolute favorite dish had to be the pureed 'cicerchie' from Puglia, with wild chicory, figs must and 'lampascioni' in raspberries vinegar. It is vegetarian, but it was so flavorful and homey; I loved it! If I could order just this, I would be ordering from here every week! Afterward, ordered an espresso (not included in the meal price). Tasted like the espresso served at most other non-Michelin star restaurants but was much more expensive. One of the chefs came out to chat with each table, and his passion for creating foods to represent the "Italian kitchen" (diverse because of all the different regions in Italy) was VERY evident and was a joy to see. Although it's a very expensive meal, I would definitely recommend stopping by here once to experience the food and atmosphere.
