I am a new homeowner and prior to discovering this gem, I was visiting Lowe's on a bi-weekly (if…read morenot more) basis. Let me just say... I hate going to Lowe's. Not to bash them, but it often feels like their staff are not interested in helping me, and I just can never seem to find what I need without googling the item first and locating it myself. I dread going in there. ANYWAY... I recently discovered that I live in quick driving distance from this Ace Hardware location. I was in desperate need of shelf pins for my kitchen cabinets- specially the 1/4 " size. I had looked everywhere for them- Lowe's and Home Depot, multiple locations for both. I even ordered some off of Amazon and the wrong size was sent to me. When I discovered this Ace Hardware, I called them first to ensure they had the size shelf pins I was looking for. To my delight, they answered the phone right away and let me know they had the size I was looking for in stock. I made the short drive there and found exactly what I was looking for and more. I have been to this location 3x since then. Every time I have been greeted with a friendly smile by one of their employees. Honestly, this place is like a breath of fresh air. I am so relieved to have found it and feel so lucky they are so close to my new home. I am a rewards member now and look forward to visiting many, many more times. Thanks for being awesome, Ace Hardware in Greentree!

This location is located inside a Giant Eagle grocery store, and it consists of only several aisles of products, so it does not have every home-improvement product that you might need. For about four years, I have occasionally shopped in this store. Most recently, I placed on online order for lawn fertilizers that the store did not have in stock. The prices were fine. Rather than pay for shipping to my home, I arranged for free delivery to this store. The fertilizers were at the store within six days, and the store notified me via email. When I arrived at the store, a friendly employee promptly greeted me. I told her that I was there to pick up my fertilizers that I had ordered online. She went into a back room and retrieved the bags and handed them over. When I was in the store, I saw other products such as power tools, grills, paints, and bird feed.

This review is more about the store that the tools Harbor Freight sells, More on that later…read more Harbor Freight must have upped their game. Significantly. I have shopped over the years at several HF locations including even in other states. I have never gotten the level of Customer Service I received the other day at this Store just off the Parkway East. I have consistently had a good experience at this store in recent years, but in buying a rolling tool cart the other day it was exceptional. Key Points: Freindly, helpfull, respectful and they were not trying to sell or upsell you or blow smoke, if they didn't know, they didn't know.(mostly overheard when other customers were asking questions) I wish other retailers had customer care even close to what I got this weekend at Harbor Freight. TOOLS: it would seem in the last couple of years or so Harbor Freight has upped their game as far as overall tool/product quality is as well. The 5 drawer tool cart I got was a fantastic deal and actually a better unit than others I consider at up to twice the price. (or more) You still have to be a bit careful about what you buy tool wise and some are still hardly worth bringing home but recently they have tools on par with Craftsman, Stanely or similar DIYer grade tools and even some that might compare to professional grade brands. Especially In today's economy, their prices make them worth looking at and could prove to be the better value. THAT from a person who used to Poo poo most HF tools
