Margaret was our assigned realtor. She knows the South Bay extremely well and matched the best neighborhoods to our budget and showed us many different options. We eventually landed in a great apartment. In our first house the challenge was getting us a place within the limits of a VA Loan. VA Loans were very low at that time. Margaret found a way. She found a few fairly good houses in good areas for us and led negotiations with the seller so that we could make that VA Loan work. In our second house, the owners left a gravestone (a real one) in the yard. It was a prop from a Halloween party that happened, but it probably weighed 1,000 lbs. The seller didn't want to get rid of it (or maybe didn't know how). Margaret found a way. She has great connections in the South Bay. She found a crew that broke it up and hauled it away at a reasonable cost before we bought it. In our third house, the seller was selling it himself. He approached things in an unconventional way and was often very demanding. Margaret found a way to deal with him so that he was satisfied but also acted in our interest. Her negotiating skills really came through in this purchase and we ended up paying a good price for the house. In our recent sale, our house was in really good shape, but didn't look up to date. Margaret immediately assessed the situation and knew exactly what to do to ensure that the house showed well. Her connections again came through, and we had gardeners/tree trimmers, cleaners, and painters all working on critical areas of the house to make it show really well--at a reasonable price. And her skill at setting the correct price point became apparent when we listed. I personally thought it was a little low, but we trust Margaret and went with her recommendation. Her strategy was right on target. The price was a little low, but by listing it like that we attracted many buyers and the price quickly bid up to something beyond what I originally thought would be a good price. The house looked great, the buyers came, and we sold at a price that exceeded expectations. Margaret is great. She is a Perfect 10. I would never think of going with anyone else.
