I called Bin There Dump That to get pricing details and to find out if they service my remote area…read more They do. I rented the largest dumpster they had (20 yards) 11 x 8 x 6. $529 for a week. I was told that equaled 15 truckloads or 5,000 lbs. If the weight goes over it is $85/ton. I called 24 hours in advance as instructed. I was told I wouldn't be given an exact arrival time (between 7a-4p) until the morning of delivery. That makes planning hard, unless you have someone at the property if you need to run an errand.. The pluses: I knew the fees ahead of time. The company serviced an area where the closest grocery store (not Dollar General or a convenience store) is 14 miles away. The concerns: *I couldn't get an arrival time until the morning of delivery. *The driver said pick up time could be "anytime" a week later. That means if you are still using the dumpster on the last day, you need to be quick since it could be removed at any time. *The scheduler said that protective covering would be placed on the lawn. It wasn't. The contract says that the client has to sign a waiver about any potential damage to the grass. I wasn't given any paperwork. *The size of the dumpster is NOT 15 truck loads. I would be surprise if it was two truck loads. *The latches are extremely challenging to open/close. The dumpster that was delivered had a bent latch on one side. It only fully locked open on the left side. *I was told to use a hammer or a rock when opening/closing the latches. (What?) In fairness, I can appreciate that driver schedules vary and you may not know until the morning of delivery. However, the contract has a detail that mentions a "waiting fee" ($35 per 15 minutes) if I'm not home when they arrive. That is ridiculous. I felt stressed until I was able to get an arrival time. It was suggested that I call between 630am & 7 am on delivery day to get a time. So I did. No one could tell me anything until around 10am. The driver arrived 15 min late (where's my waiting fee?). I was concerned about fitting in more items later in the week. I had all the bagged trash I had already accumulated put in other trucks. There were approximately 8 truck loads of items hauled away. The items would not have fit in the dumpster. The things I put into the dumpster included a 6' freezer (we filled the inside with trash), a refrigerator, filing cabinets, wood furniture that had been broken down and carefully put in to maximize space, a queen sized head board and a king sized bed frame. Communication is key. I feel misled about the size of the dumpster. The company returned my call while I had the dumpster. The person I spoke with said that there must have been confusion because the size only holds "six to eight" truckloads. I don't think that is accurate either. I had eight full truckloads hauled off. Those items would not have fit in the dumpster. After sharing my concerns, the employee said she would make sure that I was not charged for excess weight. That is a nice gesture but the bin is so small that I didn't expect to go over the 5,000 weight limit. The owner called when I requested. Instead of just apologizing for the mistake of misquoting the size by an employee, he assumed the mistake of understanding the dumpster was much bigger, was mine. The dumpster was picked up at 11:15 am a week after I rented it. If you use the company, make sure you have a clear understanding of any detail. I called multiple times to clarify questions and was still not fully informed. Request a dumpster that isn't broken or compromised. Pay attention to the prohibited items in the contract (that aren't mentioned on the phone.) Don't start loading with bagged trash since the dumpster does not hold 6-8 truckloads (based on the full truckloads that hauled away trash from my location). Have a friend take bagged trash separately & focus on other items (wood, non working equipment). The receipt will be mailed and not brought by the person delivering the dumpster.

Owner said "piece of cake" I could see very soon that they didn't know what they were doing. The storage Co office closes at 5pm so I left them at 4:30 to get to the storage shed to pay and sign contract. I kept calling them, when are you coming. They said soon. They arrived in 2 hours and started unloading. They said they got everything. I paid them and as I was leaving the storage facility they informed me that by accident they locked the shed with everything still in it. Also a few items were still in the house. I was closing on the house in the morning and things had to be moved out by than. They said they could come back in a couple of days. I explained that they left me in an awful mess. The next morning I had to call a Locksmith for the shed and get someone else to move out the rest of my stuff. This cost me a lot more money as you can imagine. Thunder Ridge damaged two of my antiques badly and wouldn't admit to it. My advice is "Do not use this co" unless you like problems. VP
