Hiring Krista was the worst decision I made in my divorce. She allowed Mandatory Disclosures from…read morethe opposing side to be 6 weeks past due before ever saying a word. She allowed my ex to enter my home on two separate occasions, against a court order, and did nothing to put a stop to it. She allowed my ex to max out our credit card and knowingly leave me in a completely financial crisis, and took no action against him. I tried to fire her before trial based on all of these facts, along with over 32 unanswered emails in a few month timeframe. She not only lied in her affidavit, stating that the reason for her withdrawal was because communication between client and attorney had broken down and that I wasn't paying my bill (which was paid in full at that time), but then she also didn't show up for the hearing and instead sent someone else in her place who had zero knowledge of our case. The judge subsequently denied the request for her withdrawal, forcing me to keep working with her. She looked me in the eye at our next interaction and said, "have you found someone else yet, because I know you don't want me representing you?" She knew my ex hadn't complied with Discovery requests but waited until a week before trial and then filed a Motion to Vacate and Reset the trial date, which the judge denied and stated, "Ms. Thiry, if you knew all of this Discovery was missing, shouldn't you have filed a Motion to Compel at some point?" Her reply, "Well, I was hopeful we could work it out between the parties, but here we are." Along with denying the Motion, the judge then allowed the opposing side to turn in an additional 1,000 pages of documents 5 days prior to trial. I ended up accepting a horrendous settlement in attorney-assisted mediation the day before trial because I was more terrified of having her represent me than I was of taking an awful deal and at least being done with her. I personally know a few other people that have had very similar experiences with her and I've had the situation reviewed by a couple of other attorneys and they've suggested that they believe I should sue her, but finding an attorney that is willing to go after another has been unsuccessful. Krista seriously failed me in my divorce and I would very strongly recommend against anyone hiring her!

I researched AVVO.com and chose several 10/10 attorneys in his field, spoke with all on the phone and finally chose him to represent my husband's case. If you want to save your time from researching then I would suggest hire this attorney for the results you are looking for in your case. during the whole process, he was caring, professional, transparent, communicative, listened to our side of the story and represented him with 100% accuracy and transparency. He was always responsive and each time he contacted us, he would take the time and showed how much he really cared about this case, which means everything. my husband's case got dismissed and all our worries literally disappeared. it was an extremely scary experience to get a ticket like that, but this amazing attorney made this journey like a piece of cake and gave us assurance to help us put our fears aside and think rationally. I am just so happy to say thank you and be out of this horrible situation that we were in the first place. Again, we live in Seattle and he is in Idaho due to the traffic violation that happened in that State, but it all went perfect and my husband joined the zoom for his court appearance. Mr. Jim Ball planned everything to the T; even trying zoom prior to court appearances to make sure Wi-Fi worked, or time difference, or even what to say ... it means a lot and thank you again!

This woman does not stand up for you this woman does not ask questions like you ask her to. Constance does not defend you and I wasn't the defendant. This woman fixed one motion and filed two others , she also wrote a letter so that I could get some files. I had to print off all of my evidence and I had to turn it in myself because she would not. I printed off three copies I gave her one I don't know where it went because she asked me for yet another copy. This woman will ask you the same questions over and over again as if she has a problem remembering what case she is working on because she doesn't take notes or look at them... she expects you to work side-by-side and you take the notes, she wants what she wants when she wants it but she will not return phone calls , you won't hear from her for weeks at a time because you are not important. you can email her multiple times and ask questions. when she tells you to go ahead and call her if you have questions she will not answer the phone. If she tells you to call her and you do you get charged for that call when you email her the information she asked for you get charged for that. She asked me for evidence and because emails only allow for such big files I had to send her several emails and I got charged for it and she refused to print it off because she said it was too much time that she would have to charge me more so I need to do it myself. I strongly urge you to look elsewhere for Council this woman is not worth it at all you will end up firing her as I did! You need someone who will fight for you not act like they could care less because hey They already suckered you out of thousands so who cares!

She went against judge's orders without any consequences. I addressed this over the course of several months and Leah did not respond at all because she was more concerned with the divorce stipulations. At the end of the process, Leah finally addressed all the lies but blew it off by saying "what difference does that make in the end?" The difference that it makes is that it cost me a ton of money to defend myself with the constant lies and manipulations of my ex, as well as the fact that we have a standard in the court system. One cannot just completely disregard a judge's orders without consequence. But from what I understand this is a very pro-female state which doesn't surprise me because Leah is a female. So it appears there will be no ramifications and I just have to suck it up that I spent a ton of money to allow my ex to play God and overrule the judge's orders.
