Julia is absolutely wonderful! I have boarded with her on and off since 2012 and I can't say enough good things about her. Older facility but you can't beat the care and knowledge. I've trusted her with my yearling to my top show horse to my old retiree. And she excels at taking care of all of them. Can't recommend enough. read more

Not sure how this farm is run now but when I boarded there I had the owner exercise my horse a couple days a week or more to find out later that were days that she didn't exercise my horse but collected the money. Very Clicky place. read more

My wife and I are very happy we found Shenck Training Center. We recently moved to Michigan from Arizona and were looking for a place to board our three horses near Dryden. We found Shenck Training Center and are very happy we did. The owner is a very experienced horse person and we have come to know that all she does is in the very best interest of our horse. We can truly say that we know our horses are receiving caring treatment all the time. I guess we can't say more than that. read more

Specialties

We are a 40 acre facility offering sports medicine rehabilitation, indoor and pasture boarding, training, and riding lessons. We have an indoor and outdoor arena, heated barn, large turnouts, stalls cleaned daily, tack room, restroom, and near the pollyann trail.

History

Established in 2004.

We have been open for 14 years, and over the last 7 years have been doing sports medicine rehabilitation. Always trying to make improvements alomg the way, without venturing away from the number one priority: the care and happiness of the animal.

Meet the Business Owner: Julia S.

I am college educated and involved in horses for nearly 30 years. After being at numerous boarding facilities and with numerous trainers, I wanted to take what I had learned/experienced, and develop my own style. I have always known what I wanted to do with my life, that being taking care of and training horses.
