Shelter me be a good charity but their charity shops are the most disorganised and old fashioned that I've never seen.
Clothing rails are so large and take up so much space that any more than six customers you would find it a struggle to manoeuvre around the shop.
Notes
Shelter is a charity for housing and the homeless in their charity shops they mostly sell clothing and a small selection of bric a brac, beware of any board games as the ones that I've bought in the past have been incomplete, games are sealed in store and there is no way of checking if they are complete.
Shelter charity do other fundraising by cold calling, visiting your home uninvited and hound you in the streets constantly to sign up to a direct debit for £12 or more per month.
I used to give quite regular to charity's and even had a few direct debit donations but due to several charity's cold calling by phone and harassing me in the street l find that l donate less due to this. read more
