Saw the billboard for this place on my journey up to Duluth, and I had some extra time to kill on…read moremy way back home, so I decided to stop in here and check it out. The place was a little too... tradwifey for my tastes... a lot of bland beige-ish home decor, scented soaps, jewelry, apparel, foodstuffs (think jams and baking mixes), MN mementos (like magnets, stickers, keychains, pins), and other miscellaneous gifts, that kind of thing; most of which didn't really appeal much to me. I did however like the fact that it was also part thrift store, because the secondary building has a lot of hand-me-down and vintage items to peruse. There were also kid's items like books, toys, and plushies. I nearly walked out empty handed, but found a cute trout-themed mini table runner that I liked for a reasonable price that I decided to purchase.
There is a bathroom available in the back if you need it. It's nearby where the ice cream is served. I was surprised they had ice cream?
There are also a couple of photo ops in the parking lot (which is rather small, but it doesn't seem like this place ever gets too busy).
There had been one other customer there while I was browsing. I overheard the dialogue between them and the shop owner. The customer clearly wanted to share their excitement, but the shop owner seemed to not care in the slightest and just wanted the customer gone. Just the vibe I got. I didn't bother with small talk when I checked out because I didn't want to annoy them further.
