From the beginning, she impressed us with her level of preparedness and professionalism. At our first meeting, she already had been looking at the value of the home we wanted to sell and had outlined a marketing plan. She was also quick to respond when we had questions and stayed in constant communication with us regarding feedback from showings and other events during the process. She helped talk us through every step of the way as we received an offer and went through negotiations. From the inspection, some concerns were noted. We contacted her to discuss it and she had already lined up the appropriate professionals to verify the concerns and prepare quotes to help us in our response to the buyers. Negotiations were smooth with no major issues arising. We had already narrowed down the general area in which we were interested in living. She provided additional information based on her knowledge of the area which enabled us to further narrow our search. We quickly found a property and she was on top of the negotiations. She has a team of venders available that was helpful as the inspection identified hail damage to the roof. Her roofer was able to provide verification and helped in working with the sellers to get the issue addressed by their insurance prior to closing. We highly recommend her for her knowledge, communication skills, and for staying on top of things every step of the way throughout the process.

We ended up taking care of her for the better part of two years until it got too much to manage. The house was on a one acre lot in Rowlett, and as you can imagine, was a lot of work to maintain. Before my father passed my parents bought a lot out in Heath and used Rod and his team, therefore I recognized the name. I called him when it was time to sell, and he came out and took a look. Rod and his team did so much, and Ashlea was an integral part in keeping me updated every single day and answering any of my questions. She did so much work to ensure the process was as smooth as possible. Of course selling is sometimes stressful, but this experience was one of the best I've had with people who genuinely care about being great people and helping as much as they can. Jodi Vinson (an amazing interior designer on the team) came out and took a look and gave her recommendations on what should be updated. We followed her advice and took a couple of months preparing the house. She gave us great info to all the resources for the estate sale (Chris Johnson did an amazing job), repairmen, etc. I don't know where I would be without this team. The house went on the market and sold within the first week. By far the one of the easier experiences in my life. Like I said, they are genuine people who care and take heart in your home. The house sold for listing price and we couldn't be more satisfied. I highly recommend this team and will absolutely be using them for anything real estate related for the rest of my life. Thank you guys for all of your hard work. Can't wait to reconnect in the future.

TLDR Richard has been the perfect realtor, highly recommended! Great advocate, knowledgeable, never…read morepushy, extremely dedicated to his clients. My wife and I have worked with Richard Chambers from M&D twice. He found an amazing house for us and we recently closed. Richard went above and beyond at every step. When searching for a home, he stuck to our parameters, had a detailed knowledge of each candidate, and focused on those with the best value per sq foot. We spent months casually looking at listings online and texting about them. He saw many houses with us, available at a moment's notice and not even remotely pushy--he was more cautious about finding the perfect house than we were! When it was time to make an offer, he was an incredible advocate for us. Richard was extremely diligent about finding any potential defects with the house. He is a fair but firm negotiator, always interacting with the seller in good faith. Richard was an absolute life saver throughout escrow. He had an encyclopedic knowledge of our P&S agreement--this saved us a lot of time and money in the end. He was also a resource every time we ran into trouble with any other aspect of the sale, any time, day or night. We could not have done this without him. Richard went far beyond what could be expected of a realtor. He is a wonderful person and will be my only realtor as long as I live in Texas.
