just now Worst experience EVER...BUYER BEWARE...... we had ****** custom roofing and construction come to our home to give us an estimate on replacing our roof he put up some tarps and had us to sign something saying that it was giving him permission to speak with our insurance company.......that turned out to be what he thought was a contract for him to do the work ....we were still in the process of getting prices for our roof to be replaced..... when we went with a different company he sent us a bill for over $3000 saying this was the cost of him putting up the tarps, that we never asked him to do ( actually we asked him not to put them up because we knew we still had more contractors coming ) and that the insurance company had him to take down because they needed to do their assessment.....Now almost a year later we went to court and the judge threw out his case...... BOTTOM LINE .....YOU CAN'T PUT A LEIN ON SOMEONES HOME AND SUE THEM BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T USE YOUR COMPANY.......AGAIN BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

They were asked to replace other boards, but advised they were solid, and did not replace them. Shingles were lifted or removed and tar was put down to seal the roof, but they did NOT replace the shingles correctly! Roof was still leaking, they were called back a second time, did not charge for the visit, but did not fix the problem by applying more tar. Now tar has run down the sides of the dormer, mold is growing on the roof boards and the roof is still leaking. I would not advise calling this company, as workers are not skilled.

I found this company through Angie's list, because mainly of their customer service reviews. I've used their services twice over the past year for some minor roof repairs. After a couple of severe wind storms we had of roof asphalt shingles getter damaged or removed. In both situations I called and spoke with Susan to schedule an appointment. I've had the opportunity to speck with David (father), Susan (mother), Mike and Braden (sons). The entire family are very professional and courtesy from all aspects. Their workers are very attentive and also very friendly. Their availability and rates were very affordable and definitely top notch. I'm positive that we will use their services again if we ever need any roof repairs or a complete roof replacement. I'd highly recommend this family owned construction business, and I'd suggest them to my friends that could use their services.

Great company. The one star review was from a petson that cheated me. They did sign an authorization with me. I met with their adjuster. The insurance company denied the roof. I sent in pictures and got the roof payed for by the carrier. Then they went with another roofer so as not to pay their deductible. As far as the tarps go we did install them because a lot of rain was in the forecast and per their policy they have to mitigate damages. I did lose in court because I was my attorney. Lesson learned. You ma'am are a liar and a cheat. read more

Gave me his word everything would be fixed. Well, 2 years later I had to hire electrician and carpenter to do the repairs. Rooney would come out but wouldn't fix anything. Just would say I get someone to call you and get fixed. But they would keep texting for me to removed my post from Yelp. Things would be fixed if I removed post first. I know something's where my fault for trusting and did live about 2 1/2 hrs away. So since they haven't repaired i didn't take down my post, just finishing up my critique. Good luck on your new home and adventure . Things I would suggest if you hire them. 1-don't use their lawyers to save money. Joe suggested we use their lawyers to save money. Spend a little extra so can get help if / when needed. 2- don't take their word until you see for yourself. Was to have 2 truck loads of gravel for drive way but only one was delivered. Called Joe and he said 2 was delivered and knew it was. I called the gravel company and only 1 was delivered. Joe told me I guessed he needed to watch his men closer. Rooney kept tell us how hard it is to built a small house but Joe said no built he has plans and can change. 3-don't build handicap house with barn doors. Rooney told me they don't make handicap barn doors and ask why he didn't tell me - he couldn't tell me everything. 4-check all electrical outlets. circuit breaker kept tripping. Had to hire an electrician to fix. 5-if you get a fireplace get the instructions booklet. They wouldn't put a hearth in floor because wasn't needed. When I finally was given book, it was highly suggested to install hearth because their fireplace can melt LVP. Rooney did come out and measured but never heard again. 5-asked several time where the septic tank was located and where the clean out pipe located. Did finally get a text picture of where they just dug up and placed the clean out. Little thing they forgot. Still no idea where septic tank is. 6-if you using gas for fireplace/ tankless water heater make sure there is a connection for the gas company to connect too. Ask Rooney where the connection was, he couldn't find. Had to do connection after house built. 7-use your own designer. We had at less 2-3, they kept leaving. 8-if you need a handicap house and need wheelchair/walker just pay close attention. Had a little step up from deck to front door. Try getting a wheelchair over that. Joe said he will get a ramp if a remove post. Well there was a metal ramp at door when we came to visit son. Have to give them that one.
