Maverik in West Wendover NV is right near the border with Utah. It is also across the highway from…read morethe Casinos. Maverik convenience stores and gas stations are all over but they really are my favorite places to stop. They are generally clean and offer a lot of drinks, snacks and gas for those on the road especially in low populated areas. This is a more populated area due to the casinos. The African American young man who works here is super friendly so check out with him! People make Maverik successful and he is one that contributes to their good reputation. Womens bathroom was so so clean but the store was clean. Gas prices were high for Nevada. View of the mountains there was primo. Worth a stop

We did not feel safe at this gas station…read more The bathrooms are located at the back corridor like hallway, not well lit , lots of doors to the left that are employee rooms, showers, sketchy closets etc. The employees we passed on the way to the bathrooms were not friendly which also happen to be all men. As women traveling we did not feel safe. Similar to other peoples reviews, the gas available was only premium gas. The building was run down, old and dirty. No one greeted or smiled at us. We got stared at a lot. Which was creepy all together. We did not get a good feeling. Find another gas station or fill up at the another town.

Warning! Do not buy gas from this place! I tried buying gas and none of their pumps were working…read moreright and after the third try or gas pump, I left this station (and all was well at that another local gas station--no problem)! The last try, the pump started at .11 and went to .55 and then shut off. I could not restart or add anymore gas. They are shady! They park their own personal car at one of the pumps to make it look like there are customers at the station.

I don't know if there are any wells…read moreout here or it just happened to be named after a guy named Wells, but I do know this: this is a very decent Love's gas station. The place was clean, the gas was cheap, the bathrooms were cleaned and well stocked, and the people were friendly. When you're between Wendover and Reno you won't be sorry for stopping here.

After an hour of waiting inside the store, I decided to ask if someone was cleaning the shower showers.. the lady looked me straight in the face and said oh our showers aren't working tonight. We don't have anyone to clean them. It's a freaking truckstop with over 100 trucks in their yard and they don't have a person to clean their showers.???? absolutely disgusting
