I emailed them, expressing my interest in a few items. While I didn't expect a response until they were open, Fran invited me to stop by anyway (we had already departed the OBX). She was kind enough to process our order and ship it safely and securely to us. Again, all before they opened for the season! We were so very pleased with our purchases and the kind service. This continued today when Fran realized that they had charged us twice for our order, something I hadn't realized. She had issued a refund as soon as she learned about this and emailed me the receipt. Again, what an exceptional level of Customer service. The store itself was closed but the pumps worked. You cannot go into the store itself as it's a drive thru only. Regular gas was $2.69 a gallon which was the cheapest in town. Diesel was $4.73 a gallon. The pumps are older but work fine as I had no issues, even with paying at the pump. They have a refreshment center with 4 drink machines and also the restrooms. They have free air too. No complaints!

Honestly, this was a fun convenient store that made me question my first judgement. I probably wouldn't venture here at night alone, but during the day, it had all of the things we needed: paper towels, ice, and some snacks. Nothing special about Big Daddy's, except maybe the name, and the Christmas decor on the outside, but it did meet our needs on this Sunday afternoon in Beaufort.
