Not sure if this is the same ownership, but that old gas station was torn down in record time, and all things considered (doing business with the city of Shreveport), this new business arose from the smoldering ashes of that place, and what was an eyesore has now become a sight for sore eyes. Located on Stoner, yes, Stoner right across from Fort Humbug and the National Guard Armory, this much larger place is in a perfect location to pull all that traffic off Spring Street to Youree Drive. The hot food options don't seem to be in place here just yet, but snacks and drinks galore abound within. I know I saw dill pickle-flavored potato chips. And hot, fresh coffee brewing. Looks like they're bringing it at Spring and Stoner. They are open 6am-11pm daily. It is an Exxon gas station. And it has the most brightly-lit interior, I don't think I've seen since the 1990's. Especially at 6am. Reminds me of the club days. Ya'll remember? Getting out of the dark club in the wee hours and walking into a store just like this for some chips or a beverage and the place on the inside is all lit up like Yankee Stadium? Yeah. It's like that. And I love it. I love even more the one little old lady working the counter the morning I visited. Very sweet. I'm glad it's here. I will be back. Often.

Its primary color as of right now is yellow from all the pollen. The silver bullet looks like the yellow submarine this time of year. And the location of this car wash is soooo convenient. Right around all the stuff you and yours like. I like it because it's right in front of Tinseltown. I average about a movie a week there, so, I'll hit this car wash at those times. The washing process is a total discotheque experience complete with colorful lighting and a big foam party for your automobile. My car is no longer yellow. And that's really all that I ask. For when it's yellow once again, I shall return in a cloud of golden dust. Gold Dust Woo-maaaan. Except, I'm not a woman. I don't know what I'm saying. Go wash your car.

Poor management on the entire facility the fuel island bathroom was disgusting and needs a good cleaning. It didn't look as sparkly clean as the plaza bathroom.

These were my old stomping grounds as I lived not far as a young man and I had friends and girlfriends that lived in the neighborhood behind this place as an even younger man. So, most of my memories of this location are a literal century ago. Good times, though. Good times. I like the name of this recent takeover because it shares it with my Rat Terrier-Dachshund mix. Birdie. I only wish the logo or mascot, instead of some cartoon yellow ducky, could be my precious pup with her big ears. That'd be so freaking adorable. But back to the store itself. It looks like an old Circle K. Inside and out. Mostly the same, just older. Maybe a few things different. Clothing being a big one. I didn't even venture any closer but from a distance it almost appeared like they were selling school uniforms near the fountain drinks. What makes this place okay is their pricing. Everything in 2026 is outrageous and this place doesn't seem that out of control with their wares. I bought a Chamoy Mega Pickle-In-A-Pouch for $1.99. That's cheaper than Five Below. So, is it the Circle K of the last century? No. Sadly not. But it'll do for here and now.
