Whoever own this gas station is truly the bottom of the bottom. This location SUCKS. There are always broken pumps. The card readers NEVER work. The owner should be ashamed of himself. My family owns gas stations and we would never EVER let one of the locations fall to this type of low. What an embarrassment. The actual employees here are amazing. The only redeeming quality of this place. The owner of this place needs to reconsider his career choices. Maybe a Chuck E Cheese is more his speed. Sad. read more

I sometimes use this Shell to fill up my tank. The prices are reasonable to Shell. I recently got the Fuel Rewards from Shell. It takes five cents off a gallon when you enter your phone number. Shell fuel has always been good. Customer service has always been great. There is a small mini mart at this gas station, but there are a lot of snacks and drinks to buy. During the middle of the day it does get crowded, so I often fill up early in the morning. I recommend this gas station. :) read more

I don't usually come to this shell as it's always busy and overpriced compared to other shells around town. This time I was able to pull right in with no issues. I do like how it's populated though and as a female I prefer people around when pumping my gas then it being completely dead. It is in a busy location though so that helps as well. read more

Second time experiencing the same rude car wash attendant. I have made the simple harmless mistake of putting in the restroom code instead of the carwash code. The man working the carwash immediately refused to help me. I then requested him to do it for me because I couldn't figure it out. He was immediately irritated grabbed my receipt pressed the proper code on the screen, gave me back my receipt and yelled "How about you learn how to read first!", then telling me I was putting the bathroom code instead of the carwash code. The first time I experience the same man was going through the carwash as well. After inputting the code there is a sign on an orange safety cone that says "Please show receipt to employee". I rolled down the window and he shewed me away with his hand. I said "The sign says to show you my..."; then he rolled his eyes and turned his back away allowing me to proceed through the carwash. The man mentioned is an older man. Around his 50-60's. I believe he is of an Indian background. Dark skin. Thin and short. I was not able to get his name. How Shell hires employees like this is beyond me. I have taken the time to write this because I am such disgust at this person's work ethic and behavior. To Shell: shouldn't eager and ready to assist employees be a standardized for all employees. Bare minimum standards at least. This man didn't meet the quality of your expectations as a Shell employee. Why does he even work there? Looking at a Shell careers page the description reads: We are looking for an efficient, courteous employee who possesses excellent customer service skills. This man at the carwash fails to meet all required fields. Josie the cashier was very kind and sweet. I go to this gas station often and she's always has a positive and ready to help attitude. If I could leave less than 1 I could. About a week ago I used my card at the inside terminal for some miscellaneous snacks before a softball game. Opened my account this morning and found over $1000 spent digitally at some liquor store down in LA. This was the only place I used my card so I am positive this is the place that stole the number. (Pumped 7/18/12 W @ 5:30pm): One of the cheapest stations in Santa Clarita...and one of the busiest! I usually visited this Shell Gas Station because it's so close to work, it's on the way to catch the 5 South freeway, and historically one of the cheapest gas stations in the area. As you can see, this station worked into my favor. The only problem with this station was that the location was too good and the low prices brought everyone in the area to fill up here. To my disbelief and astonishment, this particular day wasn't as busy! This particular station was rather spacious but only had eight pumps of small with two wide aisles that housed two pumps on each side. Pulling into this station can also be a chore since it's only accessible from one direction on McBean Pkwy. Or one direction on Valencia Blvd. (there are street islands on both streets so no access for traffic in the other direction). I easily pulled into my own aisle, gave my Ralphs Reward card, swiped the credit card, and the gas was released! Prices had just gone up again so it was relatively cheap ($3.79/gallon). I amused myself and watched whatever insipid programming was shown above the pump. Kind of ghetto as the screen was all scratched and tagged up by, I assumed, bored shitless teenagers. the My tank was quickly filled up...with barely 11 gallons of gas. Good for another four days or so! There was no service to speak of. I mean, it was all self-serve. The pay station accepted both my Ralphs Rewards and credit cards, the gas hosed flowed quickly, there were squeegees and paper towels, and I got a receipt. Oh, and they had an air and water station. Parking wasn't/shouldn't be any issue - it's a gas station! If you need to park, then something is wrong! However, there was plenty of room all around as I previously mentioned, so yeah, park if you need to. Overall, This Shell Gas Station was like any other gas station...purely functional and nothing else. I found value as noted by the prices I quoted above (total bill was around $41.00; no tip required), so still cheaper other nearby stations. The atmosphere was clean, simplistic, it had a mini-mart, and the location again was good. The attire is pure casual, so put on the t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip flops. And they accepted my credit card of choice...AMEX! read more

Yup - Shell gas station. Here's the low down on it. It is very popular during peak drive times. Early morning, after school, evening drive are always packed due to its convenience to gas and go on the freeway down the road. Things that are good here are that the owners keep it clean. I often see a guy wiping down the pumps and taking out the trash. The squeegees have clean window cleanser in it and aren't all beat up. Pumps have little tv's to pass the 2 minutes you are pumping in case you need your attention filled constantly. The air machine works - yes you heard it right... air! Sometimes its the little things that matter. The snack shack is pretty standard, and the employees are friendly. Oh and another plus is if you have to go late at night it is very well lit. So despite the occasional line to pump this is a good station gas up at. Pro Tip - Don't forget your Ralph's Rewards to $ave on the cost for gas! read more

They have great customer service. There is a particular candy that my husband LOVES. It is hard to find. Shell had them for years then stop carrying them. I inquired why they stopped selling them and the clerk was going to check with her manager. Apparently the needed a item order #. I have never felt more degraded and talked down to as I was when I asked the worker for help on my pump, as the lock was not letting me pump gas after many times trying. When I went inside for help, he proceeded to loudly complain and tell me that I was stupid for not knowing how to use the pump and that I should give him a big tip for making him walk out there and help me. I left the gas station feeling frustrated and will never go to that gas station again because of the incompetent and unprofessional incident. This happened on 5/6/19 at 8:30. Sometimes there's too many customers waiting in line, and today there was a gas truck taking up a couple of spaces pumping gas into the station. absolutely intentionally rip you off on the car wash. The computer cannot read the code you punch in to automatically know which of the 3 different car washes you purchased ( $9 - $11 - $13), so the attendant asks to see the receipt or asks you which car wash you purchased. This has been broken for almost a year now, and still not fixed. on 2 previous occasions, even though we paid for the most expensive car wash, the attendant punched the cheapest car wash button. We noticed this after driving through the car wash and not receiving all the more expensive wash treatments. So this third time we kept a close watch to see if it would happen again. An older Indian guy helped us, and I noticed this happened again, and I immediately told him before our car went through that he punched the lowest car wash button, and he insisted he had not. I also showed him that the car wash light pole was not lit up with the most expensive car wash lights as we entered the wash. Sure enough, we drive through and get the cheapest wash treatment. After exiting the wash, I immediately went back to him and told him he did not press the correct button as I had previously stated, and he agreed that he had not. However, he did not want to reimburse for the cos t difference and I had to speak to the manager about that, who was conveniently not working at that time. I went inside the store and asked the clerk to refund the price difference, and they finally did after I raised a stink about this intentional rip off! accepts stolen credit cards and has credit card readers to steal your information on two of the pumps. when notified they didn't care. all credit cards used at their pumps in the last few days were compromised because of the card reader we saw installed on their pumps. do not use credit or debit cards at this location!!! read more

I participate in Ralph's Rewards which is supposed to provide up to a $0.20 cent discount for fuel purchased at specific Shell Stations. This station is one of those participating in this program. Regular fuel was advertised at $2.93 a gallon. After swiping my Ralph's Rewards card at the pump it indicated I will be receiving a $0.20 cent discount at the pump. After selecting regular fuel, I noted the price on the digital display under the nozzle was showing the full $2.93 price. From prior experience at other stations the discounted price is usually indicated on this display. I continued pumping assuming the price would be reflected on my receipt. It was not. I was charged the full price of $2.93 for the fuel ($21.80). Oddly enough, at the bottom of my receipt was printed the phrase "You have received $0.10 per gallon on this visit by using Ralph's Rewards." I was not even awarded this discount (7.416 gallons fuel X $2.939 =21.795). When I brought this matter to the attention of the clerk she told me I would need to call a number to get this matter resolved (800-600-9003). Upon calling I was immediately peppered with advertisements. The initial recording did not even indicate I had reached Shell. After listening to a continuous stream of advertisements I gave up after 10 minutes and ended the call. I found another customer service number for Shell (888-467-4355). I waited on hold for less than a minute before my call was answered, if you could call it that. Sounded like the person at the other end had dropped the phone several times before answering in a groggy voice. After briefly telling him of my problem he just put me on hold without even saying he would be doing so. Wow! I just ended the call. I won't be making any purchases at this particular station any longer, or any Shell station for that matter. Bad customer experience at the local and corporate levels. read more

i used to go here on a daily but after today's royal f**k up I'm never coming here again. I paid with a gift card and the cashier didn't ask me how much I wanted to fill up he automatically assumed I wanted the whole balance of my gift card used. I never thought I would review a gas station. We stop here on our road trips up to Oregon and Washington from San Diego, every time. It's a great little gas station, it's always clean and the employees are pretty friendly. I appreciate that the bathrooms are always spotless and they have a ton of pumps so even when they're busy, there is typically no wait. This station cheats it's customers. I came here and attempted to use my GasBuddy card so I could get a discount on gas. I attempted to pay at the pump and it didn't work. I then went inside and the woman said that I could try it inside. I tried paying and it still declined. I had used this card only a week prior with no issues. There was nothing wrong with the card. Also, I had fuel rewards of about 15 cents off/ gal even without using my card- which STILL didn't apply toward my purchase of a tank of gas that I paid for with cash. Flash forward a couple of months later. I go here with my mom and she too tries to pay at the pump and get her Ralph's rewards. It was not applying her Ralph's rewards so she goes inside to tell the attendant. The attendant said she forgot to activate the pump. My mom goes back to the pump and as she's about to pump gas the screen amount didn't reflect her discount. The attendant says to go ahead and pump the gas anyway and the rewards will show up later. Well, they never did and she paid full price, just like I did a few months prior. Knowing that it is happening to many people after reading the reviews, makes me think this station knows exactly what they are doing and refuses to fix the problem!! They are selling watered down gasoline. I first discovered it 2 weeks ago when my brand new car started hesitating and stalling. I took it to the dealer and they said the gas was watered down. I need 91 octane for my car and it wasn't getting it because it was watered down. I added octane booster and it fixed the problem. I went back a week later to make sure it wasn't a one time thing and sure enough it started messing up again. I put in more octane booster and it was fine. This establishment cheats their customers who use Ralph's rewards. Rosa Velasquez is the manager. The employee working the night shift on 8/31/2020 initially issued the discount, as seen on the pump the amount changed from $3.15 to $2.95. The pump did not engage so I informed the employee. H acted like he forgot to engage the pump then reset the pump and did so without the discount. When I complained he said "just start pumping the gas and it will give the discount. It did not. When I complained again, the employee blamed the issue on the computer! The same scenario has happened to me personally twice at this gas station, therefore I believe it is safe to assume this is intentionally done to unjustly gain monetarily by cheating customers from their earned discount. Last night amounted to $6.00. This may seem nominal but adds up when multiple customers are cheated on a daily basis. I rate this business at -0. read more

On April 20th at 9:01 pm I gassed up my wife's car at the Shell at 24301 Valencia Bl, Valencia 91355. The tank was just below 3/4 full but I wanted to top it off for my wife. I used pump #4 & I did not realize until an hour later, when I checked my receipt, that I got charged $54.69 for 16.09 gallons. Our car has a 15.3 gallon gas tank but somehow I managed to pump 16.09 gallons into a tank that was over half full. It should have only pumped 6 or 7 gallons max. My wife and adult daughter were in the car with me 30 mins prior & also saw the gas gauge above the half way mark. The station was very busy and I believe the pumps have been tampered with to overcharge customers. I emailed LA Dept of Weights/Measures who took 5 weeks to tell me nothing wrong was found on those pumps. I then emailed Shell Corp and they responded by saying that it is independently owned and asked if it was alright to give my contact info to the station owner so that he can address the problems. I said yes but have not heard from the owner at all. I would recommend that people find another gas station to fill up at and always check your gas gauge & receipt before you leave the station. I frequent this gas station, usually about 3 times per month. The pumps work well, and the hoses don't present too much resistance when maneuvering into position. Windshield fluid is normally abundant, though there usually aren't any paper towels available for buffing out streaks. The ambiance is pleasant, with trees clustered along the northwest corner. Given its location at a major intersection, access can be a big tricky, and you'll occasionally have to wait a couple minutes before finding an open pump The pay-at-the-pump system can sometimes be a bit sluggish, and more than once I've had to go inside to retrieve my receipt. The cashiers are always friendly, however, and provide crisp and efficient service. The store is too cramped, though, and I don't like their selection of sunglasses. Overall, I am satisfied -- but not impressed -- by this station. I gave if 3 stars instead of 4 based primarily on the price, which is normally slightly higher than normal. I would recommend this station to a friend or loved one, but mostl because it has such a convenient location read more
