Date of visit: Sept 28, 2022 This Shell station is right at the corner of where you would turn to drop off your rental car. Their palm trees are blocking the first digit of the price. We just returned ftom the keys and gas was $3.15-$3.29 When I pulled in to fill up I checked the pump price. It was a whopping $5.79. They are a couple dollars more than most stations near it. What a rip off. The local news station needs to do a report on them, and the gas station directly next to them charging 10 cents less. Do yourself a favor and just drive 1 more block up. Gas prices were about $3.89. Still a scam compared to other not near the rental car drop off, but $2 less than the two closest to the rental car turn to the MIA Airport. Most other stations enroute to the airport were $3.30 to $3.50. read more

We even thought we accidentally threw something important in the garbage and mentioned it to the worker inside who said "$60". We didn't get to take this further because we found it outside, but it seemed like he was actually trying to say it would be $60 to have them open the top of the garbage can. I've never written a review for a gas station before, but this Shell by the Miami airport is a scam. Their price sign is broken so you won't realize you're getting ripped off until you pull up to the pump, where you'll find that they charge at least $1.25 more than what you'd pay anywhere else in Miami. Most expensive gas station ever! They sell gas for DOUBLE price! I understand they are the closes gas station to the car return garage and to the Miami Airport but this is unfair. I don't go out of my way to write reviews of gas stations but this one deserves it. Price was $3.99 on the large sign outside of the station. I travel alot, and I know gas stations near airports are usually more expensive. Lady comes out to pump my gas, which I should've just stopped there honestly. She tells me I have to go in to pay because the card reader isn't working - another red flag. I tell her 87, and I briefly get a look at the price on the pump - $4.57 a gallon. I go in to pay, and to fill up the rental a quarter of a tank cost $31. I asked about the rate, and the guys response was "it's only on that pump". BULLSHIT, you're ripping everyone off by advertising one price and charging another - even moreso having someone pump your gas so you can't see the extra cost. Had I not been in a hurry I would've raised alot of hell, or better yet gone somewhere else. Avoid this place at all costs!!! Most expensive gasoline station and food mart in Miami. Blatant Thieves and a bad attitude at that. I would rather push my car or motorcycle 10 miles than pay these thieves a dime. The usual attendant when I come by claims to be the owners son and his attitude is despicable. Not only is the fuel at least $1.00 more than ANY of the surrounding stations the "attendant's" attitude is beyond rude. Stop by and spit at their door but don't pay them a penny for anything. If I could give them a negative "-10" rating I would. I'm a local and have stopped here several times because I've been in a hurry but NEVER AGAIN. Do not go here. Total price gauging. I'm sure it is illegal. I filled up before taking my rental car back without having looked at the sign. Literally twice the price of normal stations.
