The BP has FastNed charging station as well. There is a large shopping area for food, snacks and drinks. Also public toilets. The fuel is very expensive here, because it's right on the highway. There are always dozens and dozens of large long-haul trucks parked there. I wonder whey so many all of the time. It seems like a small community.

Little shocked to be honest as I was expecting 24 hour living - at home in London I can pop out to the shop anytime of night to buy anything I need. And tonight we need cigarettes and rizzla (well we are in Amsterdam) and despite asking everyone we bump into including a Dutch policeman the only option appears to be all night garages. So a cab ride it is.....and this Texaco garage has a mini shop selling essentials...most importantly the essentials we needed. Its pretty tiny but amongst the slumber of the 'dam it has all you need, chocolate, coffee, bread etc... Definitely going to be more organised next time we visit but this is central and if the partying gets the better of your organisational skills then this is a great fall back option.

This is BP which I think are the best and yes... they have Marks & Spencer food... NICE!!! It is close to the highway, just beside the Mercure Amsterdam Airport. Lot of pumps, but on peak times it gets busy. If you really need it, you can grab a taxi also... as it is next to an hotel. They have also a car was in the area

If I do not feel like eating something at the not great restaurant at the hotel I may pop over here and grab some food instead. They do not have any great food but as many gas stations these day they have a small selection of groceries so one can pick-up a yogurt, some fruit etc here. Fulfills it purpose without being good or bad - guess one can also fill the car with gas as well...
