The guy was nice enough to tell me the machine broke and we didn't know how long it would take to fix, but I am trapped inside the building, with cars being me and in front. I waited 35 minutes at least, thank goodness everyone behind me backed out and then I could escape. Best feeling ever! The Dutch, in general, are very nice!! Everyone remained in a good mood and cooperated. It's not clear how much the car wash costs, or even how to pay. But I never made it that far. But at least it turned out okay and I made it out of there.

It's a good shell outside of Amsterdam toward the A4. It has diesel, petrol but not electric…read morecharging. It's not very large, but has a shop inside selling refreshments typically found at petrol stations. The prices are a bit on the high side compared to the stations off of the main road, but they are not highway prices. You pay for the conveniences here and it's not too much of a mark up for that.

The BP has FastNed charging station as well. There is a large shopping area for food, snacks and drinks. Also public toilets. The fuel is very expensive here, because it's right on the highway. There are always dozens and dozens of large long-haul trucks parked there. I wonder whey so many all of the time. It seems like a small community.

Late night craving and cigarette runs here I come. They do have everything I could really need at 2 am. Cheese. Drinks. Chocolate. Coffee. Smokes. More Chocolate. The people who work here are really nice too. The lady was helping another expat before me and was giving him a quick Dutch lesson. I listened in dutifully.
