This place is so shady. How many times do the pumps have red bags on them? Lots. Press "yes" for receipt and the machine directs you to go see the clerk. That defeats the purpose of paying at the pump. Half the time you put in your Shell Rewards number or your Jewel number and the machine rejects it. My husband went there last night to get gas and the African American cashiers put the $30 on the wrong pump. I asked for $30 on 16, she put the money on 5, and then told me she couldn't switch it and couldn't give me a receipt or refund because she didn't know how. She told me they will mail me my money in 5 to 7 business days for her mistake. When i asked for a receipt so i could address the problem with the manager, that's when she wanted to call the police. Every time I use this Shell, which is the closest to where I live, I am disgusted! If you need to go inside, go elsewhere. The cashier is rude, ignorant and unhelpful!! I swear this Shell hires people with the IQ of a cinder block. So I go in tonight, get gas no problem and go inside to buy milk. I notice that there is 2% that expired on Apr 13 & 14th. I notice the Whole Milk has expired on the 14th and the 15th. I find one in the back that expires on Apr 29th. Minding you... It's Apr 19th today. I let the clerk know that half the milk I saw in the cooler expired 4/5/6 days ago. All I get it "yeah, I know." Ok, well what do you plan to do about it?? Milk goes bad numb nuts. Bad milk makes people sick. I get a blank stare... Problem is, this isn't the first time this has happened and it's certainly not the first time I've said anything. This place CONSISTENTLY sells expired products and they don't care much to do anything about it. Anyhoo, I buy the good milk that I found and use my credit card. He then tells me that I have to tell him the "last four of my card." Why...? I just swiped the thing into your machine. The number is there. "It's Circle K policy to get the last 4 of your card." Uhhh, never been asked that before ever and I've been here plenty of times for gas and miscellaneous items. There is no reason why I have to tell you aloud what the last four of my card is. This is my second favorite gas station on Oaklawn, it is a few blocks from me and I can grab some fuel when I am low. I love the Cicle K combo here as they have decent coffee and cheap fountain drinks, and snacks. By far this is one my favorite gas stations to purchase gas. I have never had a problem at this particular station. I purchased gas today (pay at the pump) and was surprised to find I was charged an extra $10.00 on my receipt for a car wash after I returned home. Now, I know I did not select "yes" for a car wash. But I was charged for a car wash, which I DID NOT receive! I called the store to report it and the manager, Tracey, claimed she could not find that transaction anywhere in the system so I opted to go back to the station to show her what I was talking about via my receipt. Initially, I was rather disappointed at her reaction when I showed her my receipt and told her I did not get a car wash. Her response was, "I don't know what you got" as if I was lying. I politely told her to take a look at my car, which was right in front of the store window, "does it look like got a car wash?" You see, it had been snowing and raining all morning and my car was covered with ice and snow mix. She didn't respond to my question but she did ask me, "do you want one?" I told her, "no." Finally, she said she would refund my money back on my card and she did. She did give me a transaction receipt for my record. However, she never apologized for my experience and inconvenience; so I took the initiative to say "thank you", "I'm sorry for your trouble" because she did seem bothered. Bad experience. Fill my tank, opt for the wash which I never do. Receipt won't print out when I'm finished so I have no car wash code. Call the attendant via the button. 3 times. No answer. Zero parking available up front and have a sleeping kid in the car which I'm not going to wake up to stand in a long line to try to get them to find my receipt or give me a number. This one the quickest gas stations to gas up in my neck of the woods. There's typically not a long wait to get the pump. The fact the you can pay at the pump and input for savers card information at the pump is a convenient way to get in and out. But if you must go in, the customer service is great. The staff is very friendly and the gas station is so organized and well stocked. There hasn't been one time when I was unable to locate an item. If I could give this "car wash" zero stars, I would. First, who has these outdated tracks around a sharp corner. First strike when I screwed up my wheel. Then I enter my code, it says to take your foot off the brake as you zoom through this wash. So maybe I put it in neutral and take my foot off the brake? Nope. I just deep clean my front quarter panel. So I put it back in drive, take my foot off the brake and continue to zoom through like a rocket. Now comes the 10 second dryer. I finish the "wash" with a still dirty car (with the exception of my quarter panel), it's soaking wet with suds still dripping off everywhere. $10 I'll never get back on this premium wash read more
