This was my first experience at a Woodman's Market. I found it to be an okay experience but not…read morestellar. First, the store is enormous. You can probably find just about anything you need there. It kind of reminded me of Meijer but larger. The layout of the store is very confusing. Specialty items like gluten-free items can be mixed in with regular items, set off by themselves, or both. So, finding them wasn't that easy. From what we read of Woodman's before going, the did get good reviews on the amount and variety of gluten-free products. The same can be said for anything dairy-free. Their TV commercials talk about their great prices. I agree the items we saw on sale tended to be bargain, but the rest of the store seemed high. They are probably less expensive than Jewel, but more expensive than Valli Produce. We did get a lot while we were there and the total price was higher than we expected. So, overall, if you check their website for items on sale and you are near to a Woodman's, then by all means, the value is great. But if you don't live close to a Woodman's (like me), they aren't a great value but do have lots of specialty items.

If I'm at a Costco outside of Cook County, I always visit the gas station! Good layout for the station here but a little odd that it's actually a lot closer physically to an Aldi rather than the Costco warehouse itself, but whatever. Also, I noticed that there is no diesel sold here, so the Melrose Park Costco Gas I saw recently still stands out uniquely from that standpoint.

"Well no one else has complained today so clearly there's not a problem". Ma'am, do you need several customer complaints before you go to check if something is actually wrong? No, instead she chose to insinuate that either I don't know how to pump gas correctly or was lying for some reason? Her coworker looked panicked and was pretty quick to speak over her and say "there's probably something wrong, we'll tell the manager" which tells me she probably does this often.

Which has a transparent window as well as a camera so I'm unsure of why she didn't see me; but without an apology she grabs the swisher pack I asked for. Seeing she didn't even grab the pack I asked for I corrected her and went to get my ID which I left in my car. When I returned I set my ID on the counter and she proclaimed, 'You don't have to throw things at me' I told her if she paid closer attention to her customers maybe she wouldn't receive negative attitudes. She replied, 'I did pay attention but for sure- goodnight' And I left. this woman made my blood boil. It's not my fault you work at a gas station for apparently, FOUR YEARS, and you haven't mastered the art of acting appropriately. I used to like this place but fuck that.
