I do like how they have tastings ever once in a while - so you get a nice sample when you are checking out! The liquor selection seems pretty decent, too - I've noticed a lot of whiskey. One area that they lack is the snack department... not a lot going on here! They do have some other random stuff if you are in a pinch: gift bags, ping pong balls, wine openers, random stuff... The one thing thing I can count on is a pleasant greeting and always a friendly employee ringing me up. I have found that the guys that work here are all super nice and always open to give suggestions and recommendations.

I get the impression that when the owners find something they think is tasty, funny or whimsical, they bring it to their store. IE. The food, drink, and gift selection is a little bit random but with every item, there is a story, which the friendly staff easily offers up. When I stopped in last, it was close to closing time and the staff was having what appeared to be a wine and cheese paring party. I'm not sure if it was an actual publicized customer event, or they were just drinking wine in the middle of the day, but they eagerly offered some free drink samples to us as we shopped. Ever notice they are always hiring..... well let me tell you why I come to the gas station regularly for the last couple years at evening/ night and the store has had some really good workers. They are friendly and sociable and do their job well. And then they quit, often . They are overworked on thirds from second shift doing nothing. Whenever they need help with cashier issues the manager never answers her phone. We've sat in line while one employee couldn't get access to the cash register and the manager kept sending the phone calls to voicemail until one of us called her from a number she didn't know . Guy 1: quit because he had another job and couldn't work over his hours and Sara didn't show up to replace him for work. Guy 2 : frustrated that Sara asked him to cover a shift and she didn't show up to replace him. Guy 3: Sarah showed up drunk with a friend to the gas station after he got stuck working a second and third shift. Girl 1 : was pregnant and needed coverage for a few different shifts she was sick during and Sarah didn't answer her phone but showed up later drunk and ignored her. One of the customer went to meijer and got her some meds to help out . Also reported issues to Ryan who ignored the whole situation. Girl 2 : hours weren't correct for her check and Sara refused to fix them because the employee called her out for not showing up to train a new employee . Girl 3: too many hours and being left on multiple shifts because of no shows and Sara not answering the phone . Guy 4: luckily had previous training because no one showed up to help train him on thirds . He quit Becuase anytime he needed help he couldn't get it from her. This continues on so every couple weeks there are new employees . You'd think corporate would be concerned enough to audit and check in with all the people who quit but nothing . I'm impressed that after all that no one sees a pattern of bad management . Oh well, at the new gas station will look better than it'll be managed . Yep

unlike the last person who reviewed them, i don't know their personal life. all i know is that i…read morehave been going to this gas station since i was little. it's right next to the freeway, which is always helpful. after work, i've gotten off the freeway and grabbed some candy and a redbull (anytime between 10-11pm). i haven't put gas there at night, just because i've never had to. i've always been nice to the workers there and vise versa because everyone has something going on in there life. i've always had great service there, nothing to complain about. oh! and a bonus, they just remodeled and there is so much more lighting and it is larger:)
