All of a sudden, after the 2nd or 3rd time I go in, the clerk starts asking me really, really personal questions. The questions revolved around if I lived in the neighborhood. I wasn't sure if the first person (lighter skin male with short hair, 30s) was hitting on me, or nosy, or wanted details into my personal life. This happened a handful of times, and from male clerks. Both were males - one was maybe 30 something, lighter skin the other was definitely a lot older - maybe late 50s and darker skin. I was so freaked out by how nosy these people were, I began to look for a body guard! One day, I approached a male stranger to go in with me when I didn't need anything. But, was going to buy something anyhow. I felt if I had a bodyguard with me, they would LEAVE ME ALONE!. Sadly, if I went into the store with a man, or had children attached to me, I would have been looked at differently. But, because I went in alone, I felt I was targeted.
