Hamburgers are also in the menu. There is a lot of pass-through traffic between Dallas and Houston, so the owner decided to install a lunch counter. In talking with the owner, he admitted to never having been to Fuel City in Dallas to try their tacos. Instead, he brought in a local cook to develop their own menu. The meats - carne asada, barbacoa, pollo, lengua, etc. are all fresh. They also make their own salsas - hot habenero, mild red and mild green - and keep them in a warmer. I ordered the carne asada tacos on corn tortillas (flour is also available). You can watch as the cook dips the tortillas and then fries them up on the grill. They then place a generous amount of meat, onions and cilantro on top. They are served with lime wedges. The steak was seasoned nicely, dripping juices and very tender. At $1.39 each, the tacos are a tasty steal. This place does not have table cloths, silverware or china. Be prepared to sit at a small counter with locals or grab one of the few bench-style tables.

We were BLOWN AWAY BY THE 12 FLAVORS... until upon closer examination, realize this was more of a slushy than and Icee. Not a huge issue. Then we realized only THREE of the TWELVE flavors were on. WHAT THE?!?! So disappointing. Even worse, the kids didn't even drink them!!! They had about 1/4 of it and said they didn't like them. Tasted like bubble gum medicine. Restrooms were ok. Not a ton of stalls. Guy at register was friendly so that's good. Overall, wish we passed this place and went to another one.

Obviously, with female staff on duty, that one's not a high priority, but I did see a member of the staff coming and going from the women's restroom twice in the five minutes I was there. She looked a bit frantic. The men's toilet was constantly running, majorly plugged with paper and floating feces. The floor could clearly use a cleaning, as could the sink counter top and mirror. Just glad they had soap so I stood a fighting chance. I did make a small packaged food purchase, because that's just the way you do things. At the same time, I thought to myself, "How can anything from here be any cleaner than the restrooms allow for sanitation?" Somebody needs to hose this Tiger Tote down. Next time I'll just hold it.

They had a ton of snack options, and my husband even found an energy drink flavor in one of his favorite brands that he's never seen anywhere else! The restrooms were not well attended to, out of paper, wet floors, cold as can be, and generally not pleasant by any means, other than being new. There are lots of food and beverage options (see photos) from fried chicken, to pizza, to barbecue, and fried pies. The staff is mostly local young folks, which generally is a good thing, but a few would have rather been anywhere else. We tried the barbecue and it was just ok. Wouldn't get it again. I will say, the people working the BBQ place were the friendliest and most helpful in the place.

I was painfully driving from Dallas. Due to so many complicated freeway entrances, I didn't even try to fill my tank with adequate fuel. My GPS led me to this dark road. I was trying to get to a Shell station (stupid Kroger Rewards mentality). But the road got darker and darker. So, I decided to turn around to this Valero. The store is managed by a nice couple, who kept the place spotless. I was very pleased with the clean bathroom. They didn't deny my access before I told them I was also buying gas. One day, hopefully soon, someone will change the name to Valero and add gas station on this Yelp page. Tips: pumps 7 & 8 are diesel dispensers.

I stopped to pump gas at Micky's on my way to Dallas. I started the pump and went inside to use…read morethe restroom. I go back out to the pump and there were 34 gallons/$99.00 charged. My 4Runner holds 23 gallons. I talked to the manger about it. He looks at the surveillance video and sees someone remove the pump nozzle from my suv and begin pumping in their truck. He says this happened last week too. Same store different pump number. So I ask for help. Can you give me a credit. His response, "no because it's your fault." "You shouldn't have left the pump". "W cannot take a loss just because you left the pump to come in here." Obviously this is a known issue at this store and the manger chose not to help the customer. Do not stop here unless you are okay with management sitting around wat hung you he ripped off.

As for the bathrooms, I think they were as clean as public restrooms could be.
