Upside had offer for $0.09 cent cash back. Upside subtracts the difference, so I'll actually get $0.04 cent back per gallon. I paid at the pump. I was really low on gas and ended up pumping 13.7 gallons. There is hand sanitizer on the pole for customers to utilize.

It's always clean, and the staff is very helpful. There can be some trash outside, but that's usually because this is a high-traffic store, and let's be honest, some customers are jerks. The drink (including the beer cave) selection is really good and the freshly prepared food selections are reasonably quick and reasonably well priced. There's a ton of pumps so you can almost always find a slot, and one of the best things is the air pump is free, so you can easily top of your tires with that fresh Canadian air they bring in for your winter driving.

Advanced Auto Parts do not have this service- I called Sheetz and the manager, Andrew, with a professional and cheerful attitude told me to come on over! He filled my tires, and would not accept any money from me- he is so kind and professional and told me he was concerned for my safety. Above & beyond. He helped me in my "damsel in distress" moment- I don't know anything about cars haha. I greatly appreciate this! One less thing to worry about!

The staff was friendly, smiling, and had good attitudes, though you could tell they were a little frustrated--probably with management. I overheard them in the cooler talking about not being able to run things the way they wanted, which makes me think there are some operational issues behind the scenes. The bathroom wasn't great--definitely could use some more attention. There was graffiti scratched into the mirror, and it wasn't the cleanest, but it wasn't outright disgusting either. If I were ranking it against other Sheetz locations, I'd give it a 3 or 4 out of 10. It didn't stand out in any way, but it wasn't bad enough to avoid. If I needed gas or a quick stop, I'd come back, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. One thing I would say, that was better than most gas stations in general is the customer here were super friendly.

Bathrooms were spotless as any Sheetz restrooms I've ever been in. I went to the food order touch screens and ordered a grilled chicken wrap. No one seemed to be ahead of me and my food took a little longer than I had expected. It was about 7 or 8 minutes before my order was ready. In the grand scheme of things this isn't a long time to wait but in comparison to any other sheetz it was a little longer than normal. The wrap was pretty good, seemed like normal Sheetz quality food ingredients in which I really didn't have any complaints. My only issue was it seemed like the wrap was made very quickly and the wrap was torn in one spot. I didn't realize this and of course began eating it from the opposite end so by the time I was halfway through it was completely falling apart. If I'm in the area I'll stop by again, no major issues and the food was still enjoyable.

I ended up using the Exxon Mobile app to authorize pump and pay for the gas via Apple Pay. I also used some of my reward points to get $19 off. I pumped 13.6 gallons for a total of $47.60. However, I really only paid $28.60, which was nice. The store itself was closed, but there was a truck parked on the middle of the gas stations, which I thought was odd. Per Google, they are supposed to be 24 hours. There were no hours posted on the door or window.

This is a pretty handy convenience store in Kernersville, located close to the highway and featuring mid-priced stuff and some good deals as well. As usual, it's part of a mid-price gas station. Still, it's definitely one of the somewhat better places I stopped for convenience store stuff on my trip across NC.
