Stopped at this Sheetz in Greensboro, and it was... fine. Nothing exceptional (but the breakfast food was up to standard for Sheetz which is great!) and overall, nothing terrible either. The staff was friendly, smiling, and had good attitudes, though you could tell they were a little frustrated--probably with management. I overheard them in the cooler talking about not being able to run things the way they wanted, which makes me think there are some operational issues behind the scenes. The bathroom wasn't great--definitely could use some more attention. There was graffiti scratched into the mirror, and it wasn't the cleanest, but it wasn't outright disgusting either. If I were ranking it against other Sheetz locations, I'd give it a 3 or 4 out of 10. It didn't stand out in any way, but it wasn't bad enough to avoid. If I needed gas or a quick stop, I'd come back, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. Normally I don't review gas station food, but this is a special occasion. After a doctor's appointment in Greensboro, we decided we were hungry and I had a hankering for Sheetz Chicken Salad. After a few minutes of searching their very large menu, I discovered they no longer have chicken salad on the M-T-O menu. So sad. Their CS is good. We settled on 2 for $6 half subs - looked like a good deal. It was a great sandwich. Loaded with ham amd cheese, toasted. Lots of condiment and veggie choices. We ordered mayo and honey mustard, lettuce and tomato. It was a great sandwich - better than Subway and at half the price. For sides, we order a cupbof fries and a cup of onion petals. Both were well done, just the way we like it! Staff was generally friendly. And offered to help with the touch screen ordering system. The downfall came when we decided to eat in and use their dining area. We walked into an office, new employee training session! Almost every table was taken. One by a manager with a laptop. Another by two prospective filling out paperwork on tablets. Another by someone else in a Sheetz shirt with a laptop, and two others by new employees being trained, and a trainer roaming the room lecturing! No one said a word to us - just continued their tasks. Surely there is an office somewhere. There was another couple trying to squeeze in and enjoy their lunch. Just not a good situation. Sheetz, if your going to offer an eat in space, keep it clean, and make your managers use an office. What a shame - for a gas station, the food at Sheetz is pretty good. read more

Recent changes to their menu feel more like them cutting costs on their side while we're still paying the same. I had ordered a salad. Typically these came in large containers that were anywhere from a bit over half to 3/4 full in terms of lettuce, tomato, onion, etc. . What you'd put on a salad. Now they come in these tins that look like wannabe Chipotle containers, far less content in them, and for $10? The quality and content doesn't match the cost. read more

I stopped by here around 4:25 PM on a Friday afternoon for the primary purpose of using the restroom and getting something to drink. They have two sets of self-check out machines. There is a sitting area for people to eat in or chill, I guess lol. They also have a PNC Bank ATM. For the most part, everything was stocked. They also have a walk-in cooler for beer. There's the typically coffee area and fountain drink/slushy drink area too. I saw a couple people ordering at the "made to go" kiosk. The store itself was clean. The restroom was decent. There was a little trash on the ground. The actual stall was dirty. I ended up getting two body armor drinks that were 2 for $5.50. I utilized self check out and it was very easy. read more

My tire light was on, and I'm in the process of moving. Toyota did not top up the air in my tires at my service visit last week. Advanced Auto Parts do not have this service- I called Sheetz and the manager, Andrew, with a professional and cheerful attitude told me to come on over! He filled my tires, and would not accept any money from me- he is so kind and professional and told me he was concerned for my safety. Above & beyond. He helped me in my "damsel in distress" moment- I don't know anything about cars haha. I greatly appreciate this! One less thing to worry about! read more

This is a good Sheetz location just a stones throw away from the interstate. It is a large convenience store with a ton of food/beverage options to choose from in addition to basic automobile items such as motor oil and air fresheners. I stumbled in here in search of free air to fill my tires after the indicator light ran low. The only dull spot was the made to order station, which seemed to be out of quite a lot of items that I wanted to order, and by the time I found out about it, I had already paid for them. Overall, this is a good location, it is kept well, and the customer service is also good. read more

Months ago this location would have gotten 5 stars but not after the expierence I've had with the morning manager and staff. I used to come at night when I was on night shift never ever had a problem great customer service and orders always right. Now that I work mornings I've had to endure horrible customer service, wrong orders, being given wrong change, and charged 2x for orders. The employees in the mornings dont care and the manager incompetent and rude. read more

When I visited Sheetz for the first time I thought it was just a gas station, I walked in and my whole life changed, as I opened the door a cool inviting breeze hit me like a thousand dragons breathing in my awe stricken face. The smell invaded my navel canal like the Nazi's invading the French. From the beer cave to the fizz city to the computer ordering mechanism it is all perfectly placed and in pristine condition. As I said before I thought it was just a gas station, but I was mistaken, Sheetz is not a gas station, or a fast food restaurant or anything of that nature, it is a sanctuary, a temple, a direct connection to God himself, this place is an oasis in the shit hole that is earth, all things pale in comparison to Sheetz, and anybody who says otherwise is a heretic. Anybody who not witnessed the true all engulfing glory of sheetz must do so, one has not lived until he takes that first step into sheetz and feels the breath of a thousand dragons blasting upon his pathetic pre-Sheetz witnessing face.
