Secondly he recently heard about a incident that somebody attempted to steal car with kid inside the car from our street. So that is reason he was not ready to stay in car . He was standing with me outside the car. After pre payment I start filling gas in car. All of sudden a guy start talking in intercom call system. No greeting and very rude voice . He turned off my gas and yelled on us it is not allow to keep kids here . I put my son inside the car but the way gas station guy was loud and yelled on us my son got scared and crying he was keep opening the door because he was soo scared . The guy agin yelled on us that he cannot open door he again stop gas pump . What kind of customer service is this he cannot understand situation of a mother ???. He was turning gas on and off I am not sure I got full gas . In mean time another lady came on next gas pump to me she has kids with her. he was also rude and yelling on her . When I went inside store to discussed with him why I have my son outside . he start yelling on me get out of store he was not ready to listen my situation . That was soo rude . He start creating a scene there and his behaviour threatened my 7 year old son .my son is soo scared at this time due to that incident If customer doing mistake is this a way to approach ur customers???He was watching through window and instead of offering help he was yelling on us like we was stealing gas from there .Same time making me confuse while yelling on and off through intercom. Please teach customer service skills to your employees and best approach to your customer. If you have policies please post somewhere it is easily accessible for customer.. Other thing every other day a car got stolen from driveway or gas stations I donot feel safe to leave my kid in car alone . Since from last 2 year I was regular customer for this gas station every 2 week i was usually going there as it was close to me . first time today due to emergency I went with my son and the way I got treated there I really got disappointed. The guy name was Kanwal treated me like I m stealing from gas station and threatened me and my 7 year old with his rude tone of voice . I will never go to that gas station again .

Very un-accomodating customer service. There is a newer Shell Gas Station at the north end of Great Lakes and Sandalwood that's where I have switched to. Don't care if the owner might be the same. I went to the pump, and the pump was turned on by the attendant, Sandeep. I fueled my vehicle, but instead of the fuel pump turning off at $20.00 the pump kept running. I stopped the pump at $25.00. I went inside the gas station and spoke with the attendant. Sandeep then informed that she had sent my preauthorized payment to the wrong pump. My vehicle was parked beside the same pump during my entire visit. Sandeep then told me I had to pay another $25.00. Sandeep told me she would refund the $20.00 to my Visa. She told me the refund would be sent to my Visa account. Sandeep refused to give me a refund, or refund receipt and said I had to go to my bank. I payed the $25.00. When I checked at the bank, no refund had been issued. I returned to the Shell station on October 13, at about 3 10 pm. When I walked in the door Sandeep, and you realized I was there to question your actions in regards to the fraudulent use of my credit card, the look on your face was priceless. My credit card company will be refunding me the full amount.

In all my years I have never met with customer service as poor as at this gas station. It happens…read moreto be on my route home on most days and I also collect Air Miles so it seemed like a no brainer. Until now, after more than one incident. I usually pay at the pump and after accepting my card and authorizing for $60, the pump failed to reset to zero so that I could pump my gas. I summoned the attendant who told me to come in and pay inside. I said "only if you give me a receipt showing that my card has not been charged at the pump" She said "no". I pointed out that credit card fraud and identity theft were big problems so how could I be sure that they were not charging me 2X if I now gave her my card information again! She said "you can check your credit card statement when you get it!" And, it continued to be along those lines until a different attendant told me to cancel the transaction right at the pump for my ZERO receipt. I asked for a number to customer service and the names of both attendants. So, now 20 minutes later, I got my canceled receipt and proceeded to go to the Petro Canada station where I seemlessly paid with my credit card, got my gas and joined their loyalty program. Meaning to give Shell an opportunity to regain my patronage, I called customer service in the morning. The attendant had given me the internal IT help desk line. Competence? Hello? They had to give me the correct number. The manager of the Shell station called me the next day and first she told me there was nothing they could do when my credit card was declined. I said "NOT LIKELY, not only did your pump accept the card with my PIN AND it AUTHORIZED $60 but I then used it at the Petro Canada without a problem. If declined, it would not have authorized at all, it would say DECLINED!" Then she made up some other stupid excuse. I said "If you're going to call me to resolve a problem then I suggest you come up with something better than blatant lies and blaming the customer for the failure of your equipment and the incompetence of your staff." This is not my first issue with that particular station. So, from now on I will purchase gas elsewhere and I suggest others avoid the lunacy at that station and do the same!
