This was a simple tire swap--I already had the mounted tire ready. No complicated repair. No one ever showed up. No call, no update, nothing. Then the shop closed without notifying me, leaving me stranded. I ended up having to call another roadside service (Love's) to get the job done. Because of this, I lost time, money, and will now miss an important appointment. Completely unreliable and unprofessional. If you depend on your truck to make a living, do NOT rely on TA Petro roadside assistance.

The unusual thing about this being a convenience store is that, instead of selling things that people might need, they seem to carry a lot of useless items. The usual things at stores like this are here. There is junk food available in the form of candy, hot dogs, drinks, all the normal stuff. Gum, cereal, and even clothing are for sale here. You decide "this is probably a good time to gas up and get some snacks and coffee." This is NOT the place to do it! I had been to this place before and thought it was weird and I guess my short term memory couldn't be bothered. I pull off the freeway and pull into the 'gas station' only to find NO PUMPS. Oddly enough, right next door is a Valero. I drive down a little further and see their truck pumps with Diesel only. I honestly drove all around looking for their 'Unleaded' pumps at no avail. THEN comes the actual store inside. I made myself a coffee, they serve Community! and then picked up an advertised 2 packs of gum for $2 and some chocolate. I was crashing, don't judge me and my sugar habit! My total was surprisingly high and unless they're charging Starbucks prices for their Community Coffee, something isn't right. Turns out the gum was ringing up for $1.70 a pack instead of $1. The kid at the drawer was not really believing me so he walked over and saw what I saw. Then he couldn't figure out how to change the price in the register. The outcome of this story is this. I got gas, just not here. I also left my cup of coffee, 2 packs of gum and a giant Reese's cup on the desk and walked away.

They have a nice, big parking lot and getting in & out is super easy. They have plenty of pumps, I've never had to wait for one. At this gas station, is an Exxpress mart and a McDonald's. The McDonald's parking lot is super spacious and they have 2 drive thru windows. Perfect location for someone coming in or out of Beaumont.
