I recently shaped/tinted my eyebrows and the process was very smooth. It took about 1hr and 15 minutes but it can vary by person. All worth it though because my brows look booombbb. Now in terms of appointments, in order to make it fair for all her clients & maintain good availability, she only opens up her calendar 2 weeks at a time. Make sure to tune into her instagram @marisabel.beauty to find out when appointments will open up, although its typically every other Friday at 9pm. Note you should also be prepared to pay the full service fee after booking in order to confirm your appointment. I honestly can't say enough good things about her. Basically insult to injury. Worse experience ever. Now i have to pay more $$$$ to get them removed. I had consultations at other shops to see about fixing it and they even said theres no way to fix it other than removal because they are 2 totally different shapes. Waiting to get them lasered....and for the refund she said she will give me....that was over a month ago....because she was on vacation....guess she needs the money more than i do‍her excuse now is that she doesnt have to give me a refund because im suppose to come in for a touch up. I was called about 30 minutes before and told that they were running 10-15 minutes behind but it ended up being 45 - I was about to leave and they finally were ready. Second, ABSOLUTE lack of privacy!!! The treatment rooms are not private so all throughout my services there were people waliking through to get in and out of hte other rooms. No dressing rooms so once I was done with my massage I was not left to myself to get dressed and pulled together - I had to find my clothes and shoes that were still in the first treatment room and get dressed with an audience. I looked like a hot mess once I made my way to the reception area to pay since I had not had a minute to look at a mirror!

I came across her business IG and she was in the neighborhood so I took a chance that paid off. She works with precision and when you tell her what you need for your eyebrows she actually understands. No matter the trend, thin or thick she can do it. Personally for me, I prefer thicker brows. She uses wax and tweezes, isn't overly plucky and the experience is so relaxing I can practically fall asleep. There's this moment when she's almost done that she rubs your temples for a minute or two and it feels like heaven. I am not a super chatty person so I like that she is not annoying and understands my personality. But I just feel compelled…read moreto say multiple reasons why I am disappointed and dissatisfied with everything from pricing to knowledge to accuracy to on time for appointments from start to finish. I did not go to my last appointment as supposedly I was told that I agreed to tip them. My facial procedure which was supposed to deliver certain results did next to nothing and burned my face for close to a week where I could not even leave my apt. I paid so much for this although I was supposedly given a deal. I went back for a follow up and was told it could take 6 months to see differences it's close to 5/6 and I see nothing. I do use sunscreen and wear hats in the sun. Needless to say their "dr" left and I feel like this was a complete joke and lie and I paid way too much. Next I did laser hair removal on my lip and chin. I did 9 of 10 sessions and I still have hair growth. I do not think missing the last one was going to make it increasingly better. I did 10 of 10 laser removal Brazilian which doesn't include bikini line. I did decline the backside of the procedure. My hair has regrown in my Brazilian region. I asked a few questions about silver hair growing back after laser ( hair that I didn't have prior )and I was spoken to like I was an idiot for asking because the laser doesn't work on grey or light hair. I never had it .. I have very dark hair and it was just a question but I was not treated in a kind patient way. Treated as if I was a nuisance. And basically a $$ sign to their new business. I spent well over 6k on procedures that not only didn't work but was given not friendly treatments. I walk past the building front which is so ugly for our neighborhood and all I think is my waste of $ and time. Especially now that my hair is growing back I find it so unattractive and disgusting that they took my $ and I got less than. As well as my unsuccessful face procedure that I don't even know the name of but the machine and technician have left. I am leaving this review and lengthy one to disuade anyone thinking of going for laser hair removal or other treatments to either A) avoid or B) ask them what to expect after 9/10 sessions. Is regrowth normal to some degree And big mistake on them ; they continuously change appt times and run late. That is unacceptable in a service business. I would not return even if they said they would offer me touch ups free of charge. If they wanted to make it right they would reverse some of my 6k spent. I feel like I was given an unjust price for subpar experience.
