I'm starting to think that none of the employees actually know how to read. Over the last six months, every order I have placed has been wrong or has had items missing entirely. Some examples include; -Dipping sauces missing -Sandwiches being toasted when toasting was not selected -Vastly different ice cream flavor sent via DoorDash and was not a stock issue This location has gone downhill horrendously since I moved to the area years ago. I would also now like to add, when my fiancé went to get our last order corrected, the manager on duty did not seem to care that she had messed up the order and brushed him off when he explained that this has been an ongoing issue. read more

Normally we visit Sheetz for their beef tacos. They often have a deal going where they are 6/$6 and they are actually good and remind us of the tacos at Jack In the Box we ate growing up in CA. It's a guilty pleasure for sure though. Otherwise Sheetz is great for a quick stop for a drink and a snack. My husband had been seeing them promoting their "new" burgers on billboard's off the interstate. Today was the day we decided to give it a try. We have tried the burgers here in the past and for us, it was simply a one and done meal. The burger patties are not all beef and the taste and texture are quite unpleasant to us. No shade to those who like it though! We had high hopes for the NEW burger. Unfortunately they are the same patty as before. Bummer. Oh well! I love Sheetz. Full disclaimer, we live in AZ and only get Sheetz when visiting but it's super close to our family so we've been here easily 10x in the last year. MTO value meals are where it's at. I just wish they had a veggie option. My daughter and I usually order a 1/2 Turkey sub with the veggies and cheese but ask for no Turkey. We have to ask them in person because we can't change it on the screen or app to remove the Turkey. Wish that was an option. Otherwise we love it. Where else can you get a GOOD made-to-order sandwich on a pretzel roll, fries, and giant drink for $4.99 and earn loyalty points? My son loves the meatball sub and spicy chicken sandwich. My husband loves the flatbread and chicken subs. All of us leave happy and full. We also like that they individually wrap their footlong subs in different wrappers so you can save one for later and it's cleaner. The app is great, too. Sheetz has got to be the most inconsistent, and unorganized convenience store in the industry.... from. I travel throughout the country and have probably stopped at every Sheetz store throughout the SE. 1. Every store is set up differently (Not a good convenience). 2. During the busy times, there are never enough associates to assist customer; lines are long with one 1 attendant to ring customers up (not a convenience). 3. The equipment used is cheap, always out of order; from the coffee machines to the sugar and cream dispensers. (not a convenience). 4. They are always out of something; got sugar no cream; got coffee no sugar. (not a convenience). I literally go into the store expecting to be disappointed. 5. They never seem to have enough workers. Please note this has gone on even before the pandemic. So the pandemic is not an excuse. They seem to care more about trying to be a restaurant than a convenience store. When I come into Sheetz, I am not there to socialize. I and many other customers want to get in and get out. Not wait in line, only to see 3-4 staff members in the kitchen, with no awareness of long lines. These are not just 1-offs, this is a consistent manner in which this chain operates. So ranking the major convenience stores in the SE that I've frequent: 1. Race Trac 2. Quik Trip 3. WaWa 4. Speedway 5. everyone else 20. This is my go-to gas station. This location is brand new. The fuel prices usually rival Costco's and are sometimes lower using the Sheetz card discount. Sheetz also provides discounts and specials on food & drinks to their cardholders. The membership card is free, so just ask for one at the register. read more

This Sheetz location actually gives me the sugar free syrup that I ask for 50% of the time. Which sucks for someone that can't have more than 5 grams of sugar a day. They ALWAYS leave something off of any big order I have. The older cashier in the mornings and early afternoons ignore customers in the drive thru until there isn't a single person in the store. Honestly so unimpressed with this location. They've sucked for a while now. They're the closest Sheetz, and the closest one besides that one is 15 minutes and that location sucks as well. Waited in the drive thru for 45 minutes. Didn't move at all. Watched a SUV full of people get out, go inside and eat, and leave before I moved an inch. When we FINALLY got to the window, the cashier handed us our food. I asked for the meal to be comp'd due to the amount of time we had been waiting. He goes to get the manager. The manager hands us two free meal tickets and our food and ignored my request for the drinks we had ordered. He was extremely rude. We received less than half of the food we ordered. It was cold and gross to be honest. Went inside to address the issue and everyone in there looked like they had been waiting an eternity. I will use the free meal tickets, but not at this Sheetz. No matter how much of a hurry you are in, no matter how "convenient" it may seem, if you have to do anything involving this Sheetz go inside so you can monitor the employees and what they can, or cannot do to your order.
