She said all the pumps' card readers were down . . . again. I said I needed to fill my tank and offered to leave my car keys or a cash deposit. She said "No. You've got to leave your credit card." After just witnessing the attempt to cash in a bogus lottery ticket at this store, I wasn't about to leave my credit card for 5 or 10 minutes while I filled up my gas tank. I declined to leave my card and said I'd go to the other BFS out on Bowers Lane. The clerk said "Bye!" and waved me out the door with a single-finger salute. This place was great. We've been to lots of different Sheetz locations, because many of them also…read moreoffer supercharging for electric vehicles. This location by far was the cleanest and best organized one we have been to in West Virginia. Another bonus was that there was not anybody leering at us while we charged our car. Unfortunately, some of the locations which are in more remote areas often have people parking gasoline-powered cars in the super charging spots in order to inconvenience customers who have electric vehicles, which is a real shame and just pathetic. I'd love it if the corporation did more to prevent this childish behavior and keep their customers safe. Kudos to this location for fostering friendly service, without the bad attitude. Everything was very clean and well organized inside, and the very polite lady who helped us at the checkout counter was super friendly and helpful. We will preferentially use this as a site to charge when we are routed through Morgantown for any of our road trips in the future. Everything was hot and the fries were nice and crisp. It was my husband's first time ordering food from Sheetz- he said he liked it, but he wasn't sure of the relative value of the fast-food since he could have ordered from the dollar menu at McDonald's down the street and paid much less. Still, the food was good, it didn't take that long, and we were back on the road during our road trip without much hassle. I also earned more Sheetz rewards for our purchases. Haven't been to a Sheetz before? For MTO food like salads, sandwiches, and sides, you order on the touch screens. A little ticket will print out next to yoir screen, and you take that paper to the register to pay (and scan your rewards card). Then, you wait a few minutes for your food back at the food counter and go on your merry way.
