TL;DR - Solid deli, decent food, and a collegiate atmosphere to tie everything together. Honestly, the place is a 3.5 locale, but the food was really good and the portions were massive. The deli is more than it appears from the outside - part deli, part candy store, part convenience store, and all very welcoming I enjoyed looking around the store as I waited on my food. What m wife and I ordered were the 12" Chicken Philly (me), and the #7 off their board consisting of ham and some other meats I can't recall at the moment, a 12" as well. These appeared as massive, bulging subs filled with everything we asked for. No complaints there. Service was a bit wonky - my sub came out almost immediately, but my wife's order took a strangely long time to make. Not sure as it was one of their run-of-the-mill sandwiches, but it did come out and they were apologetic about the wait. For dessert they have offerings out of a cooler - my wife had a raspberry pie of sorts while I had a Boston Cream Cake. They were fresh and good. In the end, we were both pleased as we had a hankering for subs and we wanted to go local and not big box - the place did not disappoint.

I actually didn't mean to come this location, but the other location had a line out the door with security standing as a bouncer outside. I ended up here and had a better experience, but not a superb experience. When I walked in it was a bit crowded, so I waited by the touchscreen kiosks to order and ended up not using them as no one was observing social distancing and masks were really noticeable either. I ended up using my phone to order through the app, just as efficient and kind of quicker. I felt bad for the employees inside. Constant noise from the entitled, drunk customers. I know if I wasn't enjoying myself they weren't either. MTO stands for Made To Order food, not My Terms Only food. As long as I can remember there was no customization button for special items when ordering food but one such customer insisted on having the food made the way she wanted done a certain way. Backing up the line all the while. Honestly, if you do happen upon a Sheetz that appears busy, order through the app and have the pick up time be ASAP. You can either pay via the app or pay at the counter with the other items you are picking up. You food is usually made as it pops into the queue. Then it is place on that pick up station where you can just grab it an go. As far as the gas prices, much lower than other communities I have been in.

We've placed this order all over Pennsylvania and beyond and this location makes the best of both. Seriously. This location absolutely NAILS the dogs and hoagie. My husband says that they are the best-topped Sheetz dogs he's ever had (we drive out of our way a little to get them here). They stack up my sandwich quite nice and neat at this location. Sometimes, at other locations, they throw the toppings on all sloppy and with no consideration for portion misbalance (they'll put 2 olives on a sandwich but then 45 pickles). Not here! I think they actually care about the quality here. They've renovated this location in recent years. Lots of seating both inside and out. The store is located near the IUP campus so that must be a nice little place to stop for some midnight French fries or booze or whatever folks are into these days. If you have a choice - pick this Sheetz!
