On two separate occasions, my drinks were made incorrectly with the wrong flavors. On my first order, I purchased five drinks, but only one was actually given to me. When I went back, I was told they were "out of stock," even though the shelves were fully stocked with the exact same drinks I ordered, which made the explanation hard to understand and honestly very frustrating. On a second occasion, my drinks were made incorrectly with the wrong flavors, AGAIN! I definitely started notice a pattern rather than bad luck, so I went back to the store to get it corrected. What really stood out wasn't just the mistake itself, but how it was handled. It's one thing to make an error, but it's another when someone is literally looking at you and laughing about it as if wasting someone's time and money is funny, which felt disrespectful and unprofessional. I did speak with a manager, she took responsibility for the situation but didn't actually handle or resolve it. Honestly felt like she was trying to brush the issue off and move past it as if it never really happened and to me that really shows that customer service at this store doesn't seem like a priority. If you don't like your job, then QUIT, because bringing that kind of negative energy into customer interactions isn't fair to people who are paying for a service.

The little independents pay top dollar for their gas and sell it much cheaper than Sheets. Sheets is not our friend.

TL;DR - Solid deli, decent food, and a collegiate atmosphere to tie everything together. Honestly, the place is a 3.5 locale, but the food was really good and the portions were massive. The deli is more than it appears from the outside - part deli, part candy store, part convenience store, and all very welcoming I enjoyed looking around the store as I waited on my food. What m wife and I ordered were the 12" Chicken Philly (me), and the #7 off their board consisting of ham and some other meats I can't recall at the moment, a 12" as well. These appeared as massive, bulging subs filled with everything we asked for. No complaints there. Service was a bit wonky - my sub came out almost immediately, but my wife's order took a strangely long time to make. Not sure as it was one of their run-of-the-mill sandwiches, but it did come out and they were apologetic about the wait. For dessert they have offerings out of a cooler - my wife had a raspberry pie of sorts while I had a Boston Cream Cake. They were fresh and good. In the end, we were both pleased as we had a hankering for subs and we wanted to go local and not big box - the place did not disappoint.

When I walked in it was a bit crowded, so I waited by the touchscreen kiosks to order and ended up not using them as no one was observing social distancing and masks were really noticeable either. I ended up using my phone to order through the app, just as efficient and kind of quicker. I felt bad for the employees inside. Constant noise from the entitled, drunk customers. I know if I wasn't enjoying myself they weren't either. MTO stands for Made To Order food, not My Terms Only food. As long as I can remember there was no customization button for special items when ordering food but one such customer insisted on having the food made the way she wanted done a certain way. Backing up the line all the while. Honestly, if you do happen upon a Sheetz that appears busy, order through the app and have the pick up time be ASAP. You can either pay via the app or pay at the counter with the other items you are picking up. You food is usually made as it pops into the queue. We've placed this order all over Pennsylvania and beyond and this location makes the best of both. Seriously. This location absolutely NAILS the dogs and hoagie. My husband says that they are the best-topped Sheetz dogs he's ever had (we drive out of our way a little to get them here). They stack up my sandwich quite nice and neat at this location. Sometimes, at other locations, they throw the toppings on all sloppy and with no consideration for portion misbalance (they'll put 2 olives on a sandwich but then 45 pickles). Not here! I think they actually care about the quality here. They've renovated this location in recent years. Lots of seating both inside and out. The store is located near the IUP campus so that must be a nice little place to stop for some midnight French fries or booze or whatever folks are into these days. If you have a choice - pick this Sheetz!

This is one of the more interesting Sheetz I have seen. I've seen ones with a drive-thru, ones…read morethat are tiny as can be, ones that stretch for what seems like miles, but never one like this. First a bit of background. Route 119 through this region was a very poorly laid out road and at that time only two lanes from Homer City to Blairsville. The nearest Sheetz location was at a very weird intersection with Route 119, hard to get into and even harder to exit. Another location was up the road in Black Lick (later closed). Once 119 was widen to four lanes the whole way, Sheetz decided to build a new location, bigger and better. With a little something attached to it. This one in particular has a bank attached to it. First Commonwealth. That's right, if you want to run some errands and one just happens to be a trip to the bank, save for around the time you need to get some grub. Make your deposit at the bank and then just strolled over and order you MTO. No need to worry, seating is available inside. Big huge location, who knows, may get bigger (the big Citgo next door couldn't keep up and shuttered). Everything else is typical here, except for the bank. It makes it unique in it's own way.
