Having spent a lot more time at this location since I first wrote this review... I've learned what to expect, and what to avoid. Overall, it is still not a great Sheetz location. I can't count on the tea to be filled and available whenever I go in, and I don't really get much food there anymore, so without being able to get a drink in the morning every time, it kind of makes me stopping pointless. Usually, it is there, but I would say once every couple of weeks I will walk in and the urns are empty, waiting to be serviced (like they have been noticed, but tea is not being brewed). It's frustrating when the brewed tea isn't available, because bottled drinks are so packed with sugar. I like to put just a small amount of sweet tea in a mostly unsweet cup. I do like that they have the powdered lemon available. Generally... they could probably do better here. It is a pretty busy location, so I feel like investing in more staff if needed would be worth it. read more

Sheetz is a convenience store that is almost on every corner. The store is like a one stop shop for most things you need. Per the website it says "Sheetz is an American chain of convenience stores and coffee shops." The key word is convenience. Today was anything but convenient. I waited over 10 minutes for creamer to be refilled. My coffee had begun to cool. There were 4 employees in the make take food area. The coffee station was not clean. Creamer and sugar all over the counter. I thought the employee who refilled the creamer would clean the station but she returned behind the counter to continue her conversation. read more

Literally, it was over two hours in the drive-through lane on Christmas Day. We couldn't leave, because of the curb. They didn't apologize, but said they were short on staff. At least they could've warned us so we could leave if we didn't want to wait that long. No one told us of the delay. read more

I really like Sheetz but unfortunately they don't have Sheetz in Charlotte where I live. I found this location to be clean and well stocked. I did not order food on this visit but they generally have a great selection of made-to-order foods & I like being able to place my order at the kiosk. My hubby likes Sheetz too but being from the suburbs of Philly, his preference is generally for Wawa when he has a choice. Being from the south, I am agnostic... I have been to this location quite a few times, considering it is the closest gas station near me. The service is usually alright, but there was an employee that stood out to me. He seemed to be the only one who cared about his job, whenever I come in, I see other workers standing there, but not him. I told him how he was doing an outstanding job, and deserves a raise! I ordered the Crispy Chicken Fritter sliders and the cheese bites for the 2/$5 late night deal. The cheese bites were good as always and the chicken fritter sliders were delicious. The chicken was actually breaded with the spicy breading which made them even better because you had the sweetness of the honey mustard with the kick of the chicken. It didnt show on the menu screen that the chicken would be spicy so if you are not a fan of spicy foods dont order these. The service it self could have been a lil better though. read more

I myself do not have a physical disability but I noticed there was no handicap button to open the doors nor are the doors automatic, if there is and I didn't see it that is just as bad, an individual in a wheelchair should not have to solve a puzzle to go inside a gas station. I'm reviewing as a gas station and convenience store-haven't tried the food. Okay-as far as a gas station goes-always well maintained pumps-and always well lit and an open one. No issues with their 87 or 93 (use the 87 for our Volvo Turbo and Honda Hybrid, 93 for my classic Porsche 928). Their free air has a digital display and it will inflate or deflate your tires to get them to the right pressure. This is critical for safety, gas mileage and tire wear. They have a great beer cave full of local and classic selections. The people are pleasant and friendly. I have to say, I never thought I'd review a gas station but this one gets my votes and my $$$$! read more

With the addition of online ordering it couldn't be easier to order your food and have it ready when you arrive. The staff is pleasant, and if they are out of something, they are always willing to substitute or allow you some free treats as an apology. It's in a perfect location with handicapped parking. They're open 24/7 which works well with my personal schedule. And they know me by name. Moreover, not just during the pandemic, they keep the place clean and always wear gloves when preparing food. And because of the recent pandemic (as of 2021) they all wear masks and take extra care to clean surfaces consistently. read more

It's a gas station. They have fast food and a large selection. While it's not the picture of health, you can customize your options which makes it atleast more desireable from an individualization perspective. The gas here was slightly more than at the one by my house probably for the same reason it's more at Harris teeter than food lion. It's just a tad nicer. While I love Sheetz, this particular location is awful. And since I've been waiting for 15 min now for a frozen drink, thought I'd use the time to write my first Yelp review. The service at the cafe is the pits. They are rude, slow and seem to be confused every time I visit. The fist mishap resulted in a free item from the manager. The second resulted in a rude comment from the server. My order today was placed at 1:17 pm. It's now 1:35 and my ticket was finally called. Missing an item. So now I'm waiting again, along with several other unhappy customers, one of whom just got tired of waiting and walked out. Great convienent even stop for drinks and fuel, clean bathrooms, but good god... Avoid the cafe!!!!! read more

My sister and I were on our way to Georgia. We stopped by this Sheetz because the air in one of our tires was low. While we were using the air pump, we realized that it wasn't working properly and it ended up taking air out of our tires. I went inside hoping to find someone that could help. I spoke with one of the cashier's there and she kindly went to ask the manager. When she came back, the words from her manager were "if it's not working properly, they'll have to go somewhere else." I tried to ask one more time if anyone could do anything and the cashier next to her decided to get an attitude with me rather than try to help. I was very disappointed by the lack of compassion at this establishment. Even if they couldn't fix the machine, they could have at least shown more concern. They didn't even come out to look at the machine to see what the issue was. It could have been a simple mistake. read more

I have to say that this Sheetz location is probably my favorite in the Triad. Brand new and clean are 2 things that make me chose this location as my favorite. I do not use their gas but I love to stop in and pick up coffee drinks, sodas and snacks when I am on the road. I haven't tried the food that they serve but I have heard some bad things about it. I am weary about eating food from a gas station. For all you Sheetz food lovers out there this location has a drive thru. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE ! Still waiting for two hot dogs. I don't expect gourmet from Sheetz. Just clean and FAST. This location couldn't even meet that low standard on a Saturday at 1:20 pm. I stopped in for a quick lunch between appointments. Ordered and paid for two hot dogs, and then waited and waited. Finally left after 25 minutes without my hot dogs, because I was late for my next stop. I could have gone across the street, bought hot dogs at the grocery store, driven home and boiled them on the stovetop in 25 minutes. Thanks for nothing, Sheetz. read more

I moved to the Battleground area in Greensboro at the beginning of 2020. I've been a faithful customer of Sheetz since age 18...I'm now 36. This is the closest store to my house, yet, I've never had so many issues and inconsistencies out of a single business as I've had with your New Garden store...from mobile coupons not working (THREE TIMES)--all while the manager on duty (Eric) tells me there is nothing he can do about it...meanwhile, I've lost out on $5.50 worth coupon saving thanks to SHEETZ on New Garden. Bad customer service, extremely slow moving lines (I wait 17 minutes for a meatball sub tonight, and still didn't get it), non responsive management staff, and food order mispacked TWICE. Someone needs to train the management staff at this store ASAP, and they need to retrain the team, or I will GLADLY find somewhere else to shop, even if I have to spend a little more money. This is a train wreck waiting to happen. I'll pay for competence, quality & efficiency, which this store GRAVELY lacks. I'm extremely irritated with them at this point. I would love to know what you guys are prepared to do when mobile coupons don't work. Other companies, INCLUDING the one that I manage for, have manual override buttons to combat that issue. Do you guys not have the same alternative? If not, I won't risk buying cigarettes from Sheetz anymore either. Fix the issue guys. I know good quality service, and this isn't it. This Sheetz is very close to where I live and makes it easy to stop off and get gas and/or food. Look, I'm a food snob but growing up my best friend's dad was a big wig for Sheetz Corp. and we would get free MTO coupons all the time. Being that we were in high school and didn't want to stay cooped up in the house we went out and ate at Sheetz all the time. I have a rule about not eating food cooked at gas stations; lets face it...it's gross. But not at Sheetz. It's by no means gourmet or anything but it's cheap and hits the spot. read more

This review is based solely off of my numerous experiences with the drive thru. I love their coffees and the idea of a drive thru but seriously, don't even bother. I have had to wait 20 minutes for an iced coffee on numerous occasions (placing the order at the drive thru and preordering on my app). I don't eat their food but I can only imagine how long the wait is for that! They have no idea what they're doing and shouldn't even have a drive thru. They have no designated drive thru person. Typically someone takes your payment and disappears. Then someone else comes to the window 10 minutes later to try to hand you the wrong thing and then disappears. Then the first person comes back 10 minutes after and is like "You're still waiting?! What did you order again??" So after 20 minutes i finally get my "iced" coffee that's now melted. Meanwhile the people behind you in line are also stuck waiting, their food getting colder by the second. I have tried to give this place a few chances, but after today, I'M DONE! read more
