Getting here was half the battle. I have never been to this area in my life and see why now. It is a bit of a cluster to get here and navigating the lot can be a bit confusing. I'm assuming that Sheetz is at the crossroads in the downtown region of this town. Which is good, that means you will have to pass by here in your travel. Going inside I was was in need of something to drink and use the facilities. I also thought why not get a small snack while inside. It was busy and customers were everywhere. I was able to accomplish all I came here for, except I didn't master one thing, as I rarely use that machine. See, I had bought a lottery ticket, which I don't do often, and it was a winner. According to the kiosk. I was like, great, I'll take it to the register and get my money. Well, I didn't know you had to scan the ticket, get a voucher, and then head to the register. When I was at the register the lady asked me if I knew how to use it, and I was honest and said no. She went out of her way to walk me back to the kiosk and show me how to do it. I thank her for that. She then walked me back to the register and did the transaction for the winning ticket. After that transaction she rang me up for my other items and I was on my way out the door to try and figure out which street I needed to then go down.

When we pulled in it wasn't that busy, plenty of pumps for people to come and go. We pulled right up to the pump and started to do out thing. I do have to let you know, that you need to pay attention to the pumps you are pulling up to. Several of them are full service pumps while others are self service. You can pay at pump here and make it that much easier on yourself. Once you are done with fuel, you are free to go. You can go inside if you want, but we did not, they did have tents set up outside to purchase tobacco products.

I'm not sure what was here prior, if you pull up maps on Google it looks like it might have been a Pacific Pride location before Sheetz bought out the truck portion and expanded their station. But it somehow works. There is ample room in the parking lot and allows for flow of traffic to continue. By basically having two lots, one for trucks and one for basic use, they really make it work in here. I needed to use the facilities while here and I have to say that this is by far the biggest bathrooms I have come across at any location. They are well maintained and well used. The store seems to have a little bit more of a selection than most other locations. No matter what you a looking for you should be able to find it in here. I was pleasantly surprised by this. No back door, no delivery receiving. Odd. The way the store is laid out, too, is odd. It wasn't immediately apparent what each carousel was for. Odd. I had the appetizer sampler; a bunch of popcorn chicken, three mozzarella cheese sticks, and three macaroni and cheese wedges for $5.30. A deal, but would have liked 1-2 more macaroni and cheese wedges. Everything was piping hot and came out in about seven minutes. Odd isn't a bad thing, in this Sheetz's case, maybe 'dated' or 'small' would be better adjectives.

I assumed this was because it was late and the place was closed. I went 6 miles down the road to a 7-11 in Wayland and got a notice that there were insufficient funds in my account to purchase gas. After calling my bank and checking my statement online this afternoon, it was revealed that two unauthorized charges credited to Van Wormer's were processed. It is clear to me that someone installed a card reader on one of Van Wormer's pumps and is stealing debit card numbers. Avoid purchasing gas there.
