In October I booked an appointment online with Roberto. I paid in advance and Roberto canceled the appointment last minute. I contacted the establishment but they never refunded me the money I paid.... I was willing to overlook this as mistakes a can and will happen. I had an appointment booked for today with a different barber. They cited weather as a reason to cancel and asked me if I could reschedule. I had a 4:30 appointment but we are going on vacation and I could not reschedule. They then asked if I could come in at noon..... the weather at noon was worse than the weather at 4 PM.... I advised that I could not reschedule as I was working and could not make an appointment during this time. This is now two bad experiences in a row. I used to love this place but am afraid I can no longer book an appointment here. Either they take your money and don't refund you, or they cancel your appointment. I will have to look for another barber in the area that is trustworthy and reliable.

He basically spent an hour to end up with just a buzzed head. when I got home I noticed my beard trim was VERY uneven, there was more length on the left side of my beard than the right side. at one point he was doing my mustache and I did flinch, that was not on him. he said he could fix it but the mustache didnt even come out straight and even. throughout the entire haircut he kept having other customers come up to him talking, distracting him. he kept trying to talk to all the other barbers in the shop while cutting my hair. And as a result didn't get even close to the cut I wanted.

I found Klassic Cuts through Yelp and decided to give them a shot because of the good reviews. We walked in and met with the owner who was working with another customer. Him and the other barber (I'm sorry I can't remember their names!) were friendly and made my son feel comfortable. The owner showed my son photos of different hairstyles so he could pick which one he wanted. My son picked a picture of a dude with dreadlocks and after I told him that WOULDN'T happen he settled on a style that was short in the back and sides with some length up top and mom (me) approved of course ;) The barber started cutting my son's hair. They changed the TV to Spongebob so my other kids could watch it while we waited. Never once did we feel rushed, even as a few other people walked in. It was obvious they wanted to make sure the job was done right, which I appreciated. My son LOVES his hair and he keeps looking in the mirror like Johnny Bravo admiring it, haha. Thank you Klassic Cuts for showing my son that getting his haircut is a GOOD thing! We will be coming back. Included a before and after pic, the after was taken after a ride in the car with the windows down so it got a little messy but it still looks good! :)

On Saturday afternoon the shop was bustling. Good vibe, relaxed, ball game was on tv and there was conversation between the barbers and customers. I waited 45 mins but you can call ahead for an appointment. Personally I like to wait the first time in so I can see their work. They took their time with every customer. The attention to detail on display was true craftsmanship and expertise. I found my barber, no need to look any further. The cost was $20, I figure with tip that'll be $30/mo to keep looking my best.
