I am going to be completely honest, my mother had not been to a salon in 20 years, so I thought it…read moremight be a nice gesture for her to go out and get her hair done. We made an appointment for a haircut, and for it to be dyed black. The only other request is that it would not be cut too short (given that her hair was about 3 or 4 inches past her shoulders, she would only want about 5 or 6 inches off for the weight). When we got in she selected the hairstyle, but again requested that it would be a little longer than in the image. The woman who started doing her hair began to cut it and cut it more. My mother stated again that she didnt want it too short and started to feel around for how short she had already trimmed it. The woman requested that she start dying the hair and then come back to cutting it later. She dyed her hair as requested and got back to the scissor. At one point, the worker brought out an electronic razor to "fix it." At this point we realized that the worker would not listen to nor handle any simple instructions. Mind you, this was not supposed to be a big ordeal, it was a simple cut and color, anyways after an argument about the woman's experience, she admitted that she had only had her license for about a year. When we got home we reevaluated the hair to find that it was cut way too short, uneven (with pieces ranging from it original length to 4 or 5 inches), and felt wiry and burned. This was the worst experience that we have ever had in a salon.

There customer service sucks.I went in there to take pictures of 2 packs of hair .I wanted to go…read moreoutside to the car to ask my husband which one he liked.I told the lady that worked there I would be right back.I went out the door and the alarms went off.They called me back in.So, I said to myself.I know these people dont think Im stealing.So I went back in & let them check my pocket book so they could see I wasn't stealing.After, they realized I did.'t steal any thing they didnt even apologize.This store is the worse.Never will I go back again. Good business owners would not treat there customers this way.

Share review Embed…read morereview Write an update Edit review 3/3/2020 "Andrea O. from San Francisco, CA ...OMG almost the same thing happened to me on Thursday Feb.29th,2020 it was around 4 pm when me and my daughter went into the store.I was looking@ the braiding hair because I have been natural for a while wearing my own hair.Looked@the Skimpy $1 packs they had and was not satisfied asked the Chinese lady behind the counter that was staring so hard how much the full packs were she said $2 so my 18 yr old daughter told me you know you can get your braiding hair for $1 @Roses so I proceeded to walk around to the Earrings to purchase a few pairs and I glanced to the counter in Route and the same Chinese lady was then literally about to break her neck in half watching me and even did an obvious 180 turn around when I caught her Spying so hard..Which I thought was All very ridiculous...So I'm thinking by that point she is Profiling me I'm on the earring isle seeing what they have and they have the same exact styles they had years ago when I last visited this location so I begin to walk off thinking I'm just going to leave because she is Not accommodating me as a customer anyway so I'm out of here and as I'm leaving a young Black girl who she obviously has watching "helping" the customers I'm assuming is coming up behind me asking if she can help me.I'm so off put by this time I just kept walking.I have absolutely Nothing in my hands or otherwise from this Establishment and I'm walking out the front door and the Chinese lady is standing behind the counter and the buzzer goes off. That's when she comes racing from behind the counter and I think this is all a joke like these things go off some times maybe because of loose change but, then I'm Not @the Courthouse! So I'm looking in my little hand bag to see if I have loose change in the bottom anyway and I tell her O' it must be this loose change because I don't have anything else.I haven't taken anything. So I'm thinking she's going to move out of the way and let me go but, No that's when it got Real and I saw that this Chinese lady is truly Profiling me and attempting to Search me! She says in a jokingly voice "let me see in your bag" I am in utter amazement and I ask her for what? I don't have anything she just saw me dig through my bag she was right there! So I ask Are you a Police Officer because I'm not letting you look through my bag and she looks around me because she is BLOCKING! BARRING! Me from leaving the store and tells the little Black girl to Call the Police. Now looking back I Wish I had let her Call the Police So They could SEE for themselves that I had nothing belonging to the store but, instead I tell her I'm Not letting You look in my bag but, I will let her, referring to the little Black Employee girl by the Check Out Counter. So I go back where she is and take my things out of my little hand bag and put them in her hands, money, personal items, ID, and all- and ask her to hold them and let her look down inside my hand bag @the change and things and even my High blood pressure medications that I take for my heart beating too fast to begin with and this Chinese lady is pulling these False Allegations on me with NO Merit and No legal reason for Search! So now the Employee Gestures to her with her hands and shakes her head NO that I DO NOT have any of their merchandise! So I get my things back from her and begin to walk out of the door through the same stalls that I walked through earlier attempting to leave Before I was Barred from leaving and what do you know? The Buzzer does Not go off this time and where is the Chinese lady/Owner? She is by the door with me and Not behind the Counter in Order to Press the Buzzer to Make it go off so she can perform an illegal Search on me/Customers!...So I look back @her and she says "O' I Know what happened it was Your medicine that made it go off".....I'm thinking Really? a couple medicine bottles made your "FAKE" Detector Stalls go off? NO! I then tell her (as I had previously mentioned to her earlier) NO. You are WRONG. You Judged me! ...and she's standing there trying to explain away her wrongs and she sees the gig is up so she tells me "Well you no come back into my store no more" ...and I tell her "Yes I Will because I didn't steal anything, you just Judged me wrongly"....but, it is SAFE to SAY she will Not get another dime of my money"...but, I can Not say the same for her because she Humiliated me in front of my daughter and the employees in the store. Thank God their were no other Customers @the time because they had left earlier and a Customer was coming in as we left but, She Owes me for undue Stress, Humiliation, Pain and Suffering; my heart hurt all the rest of that Day and night I had to take a second dose of my heart medications that Evening, and I have NOT stopped thinking about the ordeal since!!!!!!!
