I visited this shop on a Wednesday afternoon. I had an appointment so the wait wasn't long. The woman who did my nails seemed to be in a bad mood which was strange because her dog was in the shop and usually dogs lighten ones mood. The next morning my nails turned a grey-ish/black color. I called the shop on Friday and described what I was seeing on my nails. She asked me to stop by and show her. I came by and showed her and she told me that the discoloration is from wearing dark clothing and rubbing my nails against my clothes. Normally I would accept this explanation but I work from home and haven't gone to the office in months or worn dark jeans in months. The black tights I was wearing are at least 3 years old and have been washed several times. And I've gotten light colors from other salons and have never had this issue. I thought it was the nail color but instead of just offering to fix it. She blamed me for the issue then offered to put a clear coat on top. Then she reluctantly said I could wait and pick out a different color. I waited a few minutes and left it wasn't worth it.
