My friend wanted to come here because she bought her favourite pair of earrings here yeears ago...so we came in for a bit of a mooch. This place is full of interesting jewellery- some of it was gorgeous/ some of it was not really to my taste. BUT Jewellery is always a very personal thing to choose - so maybe other yelpers'd like the things I cringed at. There was also a large selection of different minerals and gemstones for sale...so this place would make any collector of stones happy. I bought a couple of pairs of pearl earrings with Stirling silver backs (for £6 each!!) and left very happy.

This shop will show you some beautiful geology. They have items from £2 to £200 of sheer beauty. Gorgeous necklaces, rings and other jewellery is available. This is a great place to buy rocks to make jewellery with. I have taken a few friends here to Charlie's Rock shop. They have always bought something and loved the store. I was introduced to Mysteries by my friend who has had her tarot cards read here and recommended it. Situated off Neal's Yard this alternative type shop is perfect for body, mind and souls enthusiasts or if you are looking to read up about psychic and spiritual behaviour and practice. It also provides material on holistic therapies, complimentary medicine, and Reiki. It is around £35 for half an hour to get your tarot cards read on the upstairs level by one of the experts. If you are unsure who to choose, the staff advise you to look at the pictures of the readers displayed at the counter and go with who you are naturally drawn to. You also receive a recording of your reading. Beautiful healing crystals are on display in cabinets, and there is also a good range of gift ideas such as DVD's and incense sticks. A lovely little place to escape from the bustle of Covent Garden.

Which is epitomized by commodification, even if in a cute shop, in Covent Garden. Anyway despite my own cynicism, I like the look and feel of the shop, its books on Buddhism, many Buddha statues, and the little bicycle inside. Its all a mish mash of things, but interesting put together. I don't think a serious Buddhist would find anything here, but the urban spiritualist, whatever that is, might. Or just a cool Buddha statue from East Asia.
