His photos are so unique and artistic which caught our eyes. After extensive research, we still couldn't shake off the feeling that Vicens was the perfect photographer for us. Thus, we were ecstatic we were able to book Vicens for our wedding at Nestldown. (Tip: Book him early because he's that good!) We then had our phone consultation with Shannon who was very patient with our long list of questions and put our jitters at ease. Then came to our wedding day, Vicens was absolutely great to work with. He made sure we were comfortable - it's like we have known him forever even though we had just met him that morning. His bubbly personality and infectious smile was contagious to those around him which made our day even more special. It's extremely pleasurable to see the amount of passion that Vicens has behind his camera. He's happy every second to capture our love story and tells it so well especially through our wedding book that he made for us which was custom ordered from Italy. The high quality and layout of our wedding book is the perfect way for us to look back on our special day. We highly recommend Vicens to anyone who wants their special day to be told with passion and love. Worth every penny!

I recommend them to everyone for the reasons below. Shannon was so organized. She was great with instructions for the contract and setting up a date that would work for everyone. She also gave great style and location advice. This was our first shoot so we definitely needed the guidance. Most importantly, her communication was wonderful!! She was polite, fun, and responded in a timely manner. She also monitored the weather, which is important in the Bay Area. Vicen, the photographer, made us feel so comfortable, especially because we are a bit shy. He showed us how to pose and kindly started with simple poses before pushing us to think outside the box. He also has great attention to detail. My hair always parts funny and he noticed his small nuance fact and helped us fix it to get a good shot. He was on time and even went to scope out the place early. We loved it. His creativity and passion showed. Although we haven't see the final photos yet, we had a wonderful experience and Vicen showed us some on his digital camera. They looked really artsy and amazing. It is tough to catch the lighting, angels, and moments he was able to show us. We can't wait to see the final products and really enjoyed this experience. It was so fun that Vicen and Shannon make us want to be professional models (though we probably wouldn't be that great)!

My husband and I opted to do without a videographer, so pictures are all we have to remember our special (and quite expensive) day. Enter Rodrigo Varela - a man who's captured the likes of Jay-Z on film and regularly shoots events like the Latin Grammy Awards, but had no problem making my husband and I feel like celebrities with images to rival those in any upscale wedding mag. Recently, I had the pleasure of spending another day with Rodrigo, this time behind the scenes of my sister's "quince" photo shoot. Watching him work is inspiring as he shudders at the mundane and makes it a personal goal to never duplicate any shot he's previously produced - a challenge even for this experienced photographer considering the Biltmore is a common choice for brides and quinceañeras alike. I only saw a few images during the shoot, but the sneak peak he afforded me assures me he's triumphed yet again. I couldn't be happier and would recommend him to any bride or quinceanera without hesitation. The end result was absolutely beyond compare.

"Love at first sight"…read more If you are reading this review, you are probably wondering why the title? Well, that's exactly what happened when I stumbled across one of his pictures on social media. I immediately went to his profile, and I was completely in love with his pictures. I was blown away. I did not read his reviews online or did not know anyone who could have recommended him to me. I booked him right away for our engagement/10-year anniversary shoot and that same day I wasted no time and booked him for the wedding as well lol. He was the first one I booked even without having a venue or anything else. As I went to my vendors for the wedding when they asked who the photographer was everyone spoke incredible things about him, about his talent, professionalism, and how amazing he is and to think that all of this started based on one of his professional pictures on social media. His pictures were unique, artistic, and completely different to what you see out there, which was exactly what I was looking for. Then, once my husband and I meet him "we fell in love" lol literally. What's not to love? He has a great personality, approachable, professional, funny, adventurous, and cool. He is easy to work with and a true artist and a creator of magic with his lens. He truly loves what he does. However, it is the experience and service he provides to all his clients that are the most important for him. Which tells you a lot about who he is not only as a photographer but as a human being. Also, his staff is incredible. On the other hand, I must mention I am a (little) difficult to work with (lol). Picky, critical and I see everything, even the smallest details. The day of the shoot I was a bit nervous, but he made me feel comfortable, we were laughing, making jokes, and talking about life. Miguel made the experience unique, and unforgettable. It was our 10th year anniversary, and he even had a beautiful gift for us (engraved which I love) that I still have in our room. I cannot wait for our wedding. I am going to need all the laughs, I can get to calm my nerves lol. But most importantly, he will be by our side capturing the most incredible memories and sharing with us this special day. Your favorite and hottest couple (lollllllll) Yenny & Rudi

The happiness and joy the pictures of our engagement and wedding gave us is immeasurable! As soon as I saw Miguel's work I knew he was the one I wanted to hire for this special moment in our lives. When we met him, there wasn't a doubt in my mind that not only did he have a great talent but he was genuinely interested in giving the best of himself to making our pictures amazing. We did an engagement session in two different locations and Miguel and his assistant were very professional and consistently tried to make us feel comfortable all while listening to our ideas. He was very good at guiding us through the different poses. At our wedding, Miguel and his team took so many good shots before and during the wedding. They all had a great positive attitude and he had a good vision of what would be a great picture. We have two big metal prints hanging on our wall and an engagement album and wedding album. Everyone raves about how amazing all the photos look. I would recommend Miguel Ocque photography in a heartbeat!

We are at…read morethe Faro Blanco resort ( Hilton curio) and they were very kind to accommodate us last minute and drive all the way out ( for a fee) for our maternity shoot. I was definitely a little nervous going into the shoot, not knowing what the expect and the weather was a little windy too. We were also not familiar with the resort yet to know what were some good photo ops etc. Jose and Cynthia made us feel at ease right from the get go - they were somewhat familiar with the area and were quickly able to scope out and arrange for great photos. Jose did a lot of work behind the lens while Cynthia sweetly directed us, while also taking some very specific stylized pictures. We did at least 5-6 different spots at the resort, with clear and easy direction from Cynthia. They continued to show us their work on camera as we went through the shoot, chatting and joking with us, making us feel at ease. Their composition skills for photos are excellent, with a keen eye on lighting, props etc. I obviously haven't seen the final product yet, but given our excellent experience with the couple, I would highly recommend them. What we saw of photos on their camera, I have no doubts the photos will turn out good. Their service definitely comes at a premium price, but I think it's totally worth it
