Shaw's in Cape Cod was exceptionally clean, well-organized, and offered an impressive variety of products. The produce section was fresh and appealing, the meat department was outstanding, and the store catered to shoppers of all ages. The beach-themed section was especially attractive, with colorful displays that created a welcoming atmosphere. My only suggestion would be to expand the bakery selection to include items such as tiramisu, fruit tarts, and other classic pastries. While the bakery offered a wide assortment of cupcakes and cakes, many featured heavy frosting, and a broader range of traditional desserts would provide more options for customers. read more

Nice store but worst deli in Yarmouth area. Everyone standing around not working. One woman sings a lot, works a little.

Read your sale slip carefully, or better yet go elsewhere. This Shaws seems to deliberately bait and switch on its prices. Yesterday while we were in the store's deli section there was a manufacturer's coupon for Dietz and Watson sliced deli meats and cheeses for $1 off prominently displayed alongside those deli meats. In the frozen foods section there were Haagen Dazs ice cream novelties with $3.99 sales price stickers ($1.99 with digital coupon). At the cash register the coupons did not work and the sale price did not show up. The customer service said the coupon did not work because the meat package was under a pound (not true if you read the coupon carefully and note use of the word "or") and the $3.99 price was for packages with four, not six, novelty items (only six novelty item packages were packed in the freezer with the sale price sticker). The managers of that Shaws must think most customers are on vacation and won't look at their slips). read more

While it's a pleasant and well organized grocery store to walk through, it's not where I'd want to do my shopping. Apart from loss leaders, I did not find regular prices to be competitive here. The worst part was the self-checkout kiosks. I suggest that if you have any amount of produce or bulk items, go to a register. There is no fast way to get through your produce. While most other grocery store chain self-checkouts give you a pop-up keyboard to do a quick search, here they give you virtual tabs for ranges, you have to select one and then possibly scroll through photos of your items with names in small print underneath. Even worse, each time you select an item being charged by the pound, you are asked to confirm the weight. S-L-O-W. For me, this place would not generally be worth it for me in terms of time or money. read more

They had a lot tightly packed in the store was good. Being a visitor I needed a few things and they carried them. Very clean store.

Great service today from Corinna. She was kind and polite and helped me replace an item that was damaged. She balanced my bags to make sure they "weren't too heavy". Corinna is an asset to the store! I look forward to seeing her the next time I shop. read more

Shaw's needs to train its employees in how to process and checkout digital coupons for costumers. I came prepared with my online shopping list on my phone and twice I had to deal at the costumer service desk because I didn't get the digital coupon deals at the checkou.t. The cashier at the check out was incompetent and further more unfriendly, rude and short while focused and engaged in conversation with the person that was bagging. I came away disappointed. Though I got reimbursed on some items I didn't want to deal with it anymore after I realized that I was still overcharged on some items. read more

Nice supermarket in a great location on 28 in Yarmouth. Clean store with all the employees really nice. There were a lot of empty shelves, but I guess that is to be expected. Great brands, large store, but not too large as being unshoppable. I did wish they carried Moxie, as the other supermarkets in the area do and I love it, being from Maine. Lots of parking and convenient to job lots and RMV down the way in the strip mall. I usually choose this market over the others. read more

Love Shaw's. Very clean. Produce is very well stocked and fresh. Prices are a little high, but that is to be expected in a touristy town. What I liked the most is my app for the store wasn't working and the manager was quick to show me how to use it and refunded me the 5.00 coupon that I was unable to download. He was very pleasant and helpful. read more

One star for the store's covid precautions. None of the employees at any of the supermarkets respect six feet distancing, but today at the customer service counter, when a female employee (a heavy, short cashier, Charlene) twice reached in front of me, almost touching me, I spoke up. "Six feet please," I said. Her response. "I have a job to do," caring nothing, obviously, about whether she is infecting customers. read more

Our go to grocery store when on Cape. Good bakery selection. Good produce. Decent selection of prepared foods. Decent deli. Happy that you do not have to have a special card to get the sale prices. read more

Good selection and good prices. Staff is very pleasant, courteous and helpful.

Has most every thing I need. And what Shaws doesn't have there's a substitute for it.

Sam is bae. Should promote to Manager or CEO. Came 5 minutes before closing and hospitality was great! Would 100% recommend!!!

Amaliea in Customer Service was particularly un-helpful and confusing. We had a valid rain check for 4 units of a product. They were still out of the product on this visit. My Mom and I asked if we could trade in the one rain check with four units for two rain checks with 2 units. Still same overall value. But would enable us each to get what we needed when available at different stores. Amaliea told us she couldn't do it. Really? Wasn't going to be giving anything away. Just moving stuff around. She said it was something about not being able to do it today because of the date. It just seemed like she wanted to be difficult and not find a solution. Not great customer service. We left and bought our items in Harwich. A much nicer store. read more

we bought two packages of steak tips. one was perfectly fine but the second was brown on the inside and moldy spots. we then went back with the bad steak and got another package of steak for free and got our money back. we were very happy but when we got home we found out that this steak is 10 time worse than the one we just returned. absolutely disgusting. read more
