I have the worst luck with ingrown toenails and foot problems from being a competitive gymnast growing up, and Dr. Cook has been far better than the other podiatrists I have seen, even in Las Vegas. He has done an ankle surgery for me as well as a many ingrown toenail removals as well as a toe surgery. He has personally called me to check on me afterwards. I also have a genetic condition where I am missing pain receptors, and he has been one of the most understanding doctors for it and working with me. Sometimes the wait time is long, but that doesn't sway me since they are great doctors. Dr. Cook is patient, explains everything well, gives me options, and really listens to me. I was checked in on by the doctor frequently. I felt very cared for. Later, when I went to this center for an IUD placement procedure, they were very efficient and educational. Unfortunately, my IUD came out because of a very heavy period and using a menstrual cup, but WholeLife scheduled me for a replacement appointment right away at no extra cost. This is a warm office with kind, professional medical professionals. I am so glad I went here and I feel heard and healed.

She responded with the following message that suggests this MA does not have patience and she needs to fix her attitude (see attached screenshot). Also, it is very hard to reach this clinic. Sometimes I call several times throughout the day and it goes straight to voicemail (very frustrating). There is no menu where you can select the option to speak to appointment desk, MA, medical records, billing, etc. The problem is the receptionists handle all the incoming calls and they definitely need a phone menu to direct calls properly. If you need to speak to the MA about a medical issue, you have to speak to reception first to transfer and you can't always get a hold of someone in reception. UPDATE: I received a certified letter from the clinic (Dr Emily Rhodes) stating that I am fired as a patient (see attached letter). As a lgbtq patient, I am disheartened to be treated this way. This is retaliatory for speaking up and providing feedback for an obviously inappropriate response from a medical assistant. The certified letter inaccurately accused me of being disrespectful, while it is the medical assistant herself who is acting unprofessional. This clinic is overly aggressive and has dealt with my complaint by firing me. It is a shame for this clinic to be called lgbtq affirming and I encourage any patient especially LGBTQ and BIPOC to avoid this clinic like the plague.

I have had dentists in the past who always seemed to be wanting to sell me something. At Logan Smiles they tell you what is really going on and don't try to push additional services. I can feel confident if they tell me something is wrong then it is really wrong and not just a sales ploy. I also think the teeth cleanings are very well done and pain free. Also, they seem to keep up with the latest trends in dentistry which I appreciate. I had just read about the lead apron now being found to cause more harm then good. And lo and behold when I had my xray they did not use the apron. Overall a great dentist and the first one I have used that I feel entirely comfortable with.
